i use LP super as an AA
never.
you should be using LP super like 95% of the time and the remaining 5% are HP super when you manage to land far c.HP and you cancel it into the HP super without charging it at all…

I’m sure this question has been answered a lot, but I didnt found a proper answer yet.
When I watch matchvideos of tsrai, he often used to do his trademark combo:
c.lk , c.lk , fs. lp xx hp.roll
When I look at the inputs, he always presses lk+lp instead of just lk (same goes for bison players with the 3x c.lk xx scissors), why are they doing it?
Often it even seems, that he actually plinks lk + lp, getting it an input look like this:

But this shouldnt work as “plink” or? I dont know the theoretical background, but i always thought, that its only possible to plink the heavy inputs with the medium or light ones (or the medium ones with the light ones)?
(I recently read, that u can actually plink light attacks with the select button!!! Hadnt yet an opportunity to try it).
But as far as i know, u cant get a full 2 frame window for the light attacks. Double tapping would get an -x-x- frame window instead of -xx- (?), so there is no use in 1 frame links for it (?).
you can plink lk with lp if you are crouching.
Why LP super?

I don’t know if everyone already knows about this or not but, ex vert ball fadc lp/ex electricty is probably the coolest combo ever.

btw, ex ball > fadc > hard elec doesn’t need piano/sliding. you can mash hard punch and it comes out

You’re only about +10 after the hop reset, so be careful, gives your opponent about a 12-13 frame window to hit a button. If they are content to block they’ll get blown up though.

And we can’t do any of these combos without using ex ball? Kinda sucks gotta burn 3 for those setups. BLARGH… And yeah Ves all you gotta do is mix in some c.MK action to keep them from pressing buttons but yeah gotta make sure you set it up right. especially at that bar cost.

Ivebeen theory fighting this afternoon. The new blanka is now a high risk but reasonably high reward character if you get the offence going using some solid mixups that I’ve theorised.
Assuming you have got close enough to cr.lk you can frame trap with st.mp > sweep. I would then either:
And each overhead leads to ultra if you have it, except vs a standing juri and guile. Looking forward to having a go on my friends Xbox, blanka looks fun! The above options lead into sweep, if you score a second overhead you get a stun. Or after each sweep you can fake safe jump empty jump into a cr.lk combo for stun.
I don’t have a console so I can’t test the 2012 version. But I want to ask why can’t hp-ball be used instead of ex-ball in those combos?
Hp.ball doesn’t give juggle state after fadc, only ex.ball.
