you are doing it wrong.
Against Ryu, Ken, Honda, Guy, Blanka, Fei Long and Rose you can double-tap 3P because the full Ultra will hit even if you don’t hold it down. It’s still not guaranteed to work because it is a 1 frame link after all. You might have better success by disabling taunting and plinking 3P with HK.
how to disable taunt? is there an option or something?
when you select your character, pick none instead of a taunt number

Meaty st.mp, cr.mk, st.hk is amazing. I need to figure out who it works on. it does 230/360. strongest ground combo basically.
I think j.hk, st.mp, cr.mk xx hp ball xx super is blanka’s most damaging combo. Does 567/whatever
yeah that combo doesn’t different damage on different chars depending on their health. i was pulling it off consistently in AE, but only on fat/crouching chars.
yeah, it’s easy to hit scaling with it just because it does such a stupid amount of damage.
I get how the overhead rockcrusher links into light punch, but what about the normal non-overhead type? You know, keep charge,replace th two-hit Mk with the two-hit MP? It hasn’t been working for me.
And the overhead, I don’t think you get enough frames to charge the ball to hit after the LP… Or am I doing it wrong?
Keep practicing. It definitely does link. j.hk, f.mp, st.lp xx hp ball does just over 300 damage.
It’s best does done as a meaty after a knockdown or a reset. That gives you enough charge and frame advantage, and the opponent doesn’t get pushed out of range of the jab.
Did the cr.MK, Ultra 1 link become easier? Does cr.MK have more histun now?

I dont unterstand what’s new links Blanka have in AE with less recovery in Rock Crusher ? We can link Ultra with the Overhead version (+4) ? And with the other version, a far LP or far HK (+3) ?
yeah, but the overhead version only applies to standing characters. It’s really dumb.

What FADC options does blanka have? I’ve seen apparently that whatever XX Ball XX FADC Electricity is possible, is this actually true, any videos to back this up? EX ball or LP/MP/HP ball? What other options are there if possible to combo off a FADC?

also with shout of earth, how can I do my ultra right after the opponent does his? ie, his animation starts then just after that mine starts and my ultra ‘counters’ his. probably only applicable to some chars. anyone got a list of who?
Blanka has no FADC combo options without a counterhit. Balls do a lot of hit/blockstun though so you can fa cancel to try to get a crumple with the focus.
Do the ultra during their ultra animation. Don’t know offhand what you can beat, fireball ultras are a good bet. Generally you can get more damage with a block then punish though if someone does random ultra because level 2 FA, AA U2 hurts like crazy.
Also another one, when is it relatively safe to use f.hop? I kinda figure after hp.elec would be okay considering that it has +10 frames adv on block, but there is no frame data on hop so i dont know if the startup is less than the frame adv of hp.elec. i been watching T SRAI and he walks forwards not hops into a cr.lp xx hp.elec, probably because he doesnt want to cross up yet. also how can you try and prevent and possibly completley prevent being thrown during/before/after hopping if possible. also with the adv of hp elec on block what are my options on block ? is it enough to punish with some sort of combo or something? ty, sorry totally noob ^^
F.Hopping is relatively safe when you’re at the opposite end of the screen to your opponant. Or at least 22frames safe walking/projectile distance away. As Ves said before, putting yourself at -22 frames right beside your opponant is plain stupid, or something like that. Good advice. Corpse-hopping is safe. Hopping into elec can be safe as a well timed anti-air I suppose. Depends on the elec strenght/startup/hitbox flicker.
Hopping after +10 hp.elec adv seems a bit mad;… X amount startup + Y amount active + 22 recovery = self imposed death by a vast choice of nasty stuff.
I would be interested to hear advice on ‘post hp.elec block’ options, too.
