Did anyone see the Mago vs Alioune casuals on the BBC stream yesterday? Mago’s reactions and execution are godlike.
Speaking of reactions, I recalled havin a conversation with tokido regarding mago’s reaction. Tokido said, mago’s reaction isnt really that good, he’s more good at making strategies to use against opponent.
After watching several of his matches, I don’t understand why he says Mago’s reactions aren’t that good. I haven’t seen many players who can react as consistently as he does (maybe Daigo). He gets baited a lot, but not more than other players. Even Marn had a WTF moment when Mago beat Dudley’s EX MGB on reaction. But then again, I can only go on the vids we see on the net. Perhaps there are super fast players elsewhere? I know Tokido mentioned that Eita is very fast.
Maybe he means that Mago is more well-known for his ability to adapt? I can believe that. He downloaded Alioune after two matches, and then it was rape. He triple perfected him at one point. Alioune could have been sandbagging though…
Yeah, I guess he’s just sayin that thats not his main strength, maybe instead of pure reflex, he had good anticipation/reading opponents skills, oh plus he has all the time in the world (compared to lets say tokido who still has to go to school and stuff) to play/practice so his matchup knowledge is top notch.
or tokido’d proly just trollin lol, cause he was really like “eh? nah, his reactin aint THAT good yo” hahaha
