I am with you on that lets deal with what we have.
One thing that keeps me away from Denjin is the psicological effect of a 400 dmg from a missing tech… People do some really stupid things to avoid a backthrow…
It’s like one of Zanguief’s most popular mantras:
“You have the throws but grabbing people is not your job.
Your job is to punish people for trying to avoid the throws.”
Anyway, as the damage gap are being reduced… I think I’ll take my chances with Denjin.
186 damage off a missed tech isn’t so shabby, nevermind resets and what not or 345 with super etc.

I’m not 100% sure denjin connects after every palm midscreen. The character flies a lot closer to the ground it seems when compared to the parry.

Tell me if this works for you:
Overhead: will try to link super afterwards. It is currently +2, so if it stays that it will be impossible to link. If I can’t link it I will assume it is the same, +2. Tell me if you have other idea on how to test it.
Far st.hp is currently +4, again, will use super to test. Will also try to link far.st.lk or lp. If none of this works will try counterhit to sweep to make sure it is at least +6 with CH, will also try to link far st.mk on CH.
cl.st.hk should link to st.mp assuming pushback and frames don’t change, will try other stuff though.
If you have any suggestions throw them out for me to try!

Overhead: Block with Dan, and he does a reversal Koryuken. If Gouken blocks it, it’s most likely -3 on block, meaning his frame advantage didn’t change despite the increase in active frames, which would also mean no change in total frames.
Far st.HP: The test you’re going to do sounds perfect.
cl.st.HK: On Ryu, point blank cl.st.HK -> cr.LK or cr.MP xx HK Tatsu. If it still drops after 1st hit, nothing changed.

Street I just tried far st.hp linked to far st.lk in AE and couldn’t do it, even tried Turbo. Was doing it on Hakan though, maybe weird reel. Will try on Ryu later.
Far st.LK has 6f start-up, and far st.LP has 5f start-up. It shouldn’t work on non-counter hit.
