veggey we are talking about when you crossup splash a crouching opponent, at the moment a fast cr.lp will whiff and you will lose your combo. So we are talking about comboing from splash into cr.lk instead of cr.lp
Hey, I’m really having problems with Adon lately. I beat some Adon’s that had a lot of points on xbl but I feel like they were terrible, and I just randomed them to death. How can I deal with his st. RH and HP, outside of just mping the ones he wiffs? They just seem like they are too good.
how do you deal with el futee wake up pressure i was getting destroyed by it at guard crush and would like to find a way to deal with it better
Well it’s a mix
It depends on what they are doing. There is no one answer but there is a counter to each of elfs options. Vs splash block or focus. Vs the grab splash thing jump, elf makes a different sound to tell the difference between these two. Also if you pick u2 you can tiger knee it to grab any elf in air options so the tend to slide or just back off once they know you can do this. Vs slide spd or block then punish. Exgh is a good prion but it gets grabbed.
Don’t jump once elf gets u2, just don’t.
^or if you have ultra 2 make sure you throw it out there to try and float away if possible…numerous occasions where gief floats over a sliding fuerte… one of my friends plays a pretty good fuerte and usually what i do is just dash out of it on wake up…you can try to do a focus dash as well, or spam ex green fist to get out and reset the situation
psychic lp spd’s can snuff out adon a couple of times, if that doesn’t work then you can slap him with an ex fist but watch out for what happens afterwards though…
A matchup isnt based on Psychic anything…
vs. Adon, you need to be quite far away to beat out his pokes with c.lp. and you can punish all his pokes on reaction with s.mp

Uhh both of those options u just named dont get u out of anything and either waste ultra or meter. The best thing u can do against elf is react honestly if u guess its a guaranteed loss vs a good elf.
