At least the izuna grab buff seems promising. It’s close to the super’s current grab range, which is way easier to land.
Yea that sounds really good, I had trouble landing that. Is the range different depending on the punch button used to grab, or the kick button used to jump off the wall? I noticed its different in the frame data vids.
Afaik the kick changes the speed/angle of the dive, dunno if different punch button would make a difference.
cr.mk is still listed as doing 70 damage. Doesn’t seemed to be nerfed from Super to AE
Guess the blogs were wrong then, I seen this:
- Crouching Medium Punch and Crouching Medium Kick do less damage.

Why did they nerf the damage on sweep? I hope it’s safer, or better hitbox wise but WTF Capcom?

Its because Capcom was paying attention to those shitty Japanesse players who did Cosmic Heel - Sweep. To broken. BTW, i bet a stealth nerf was a stun nerf on sweep also.
of course they did no such thing. Ive been watching those AE matches and from what ive played, all the hit boxes remained exactly the same.
I dont think I’m going to play Claw anymore. I love(d) the character design in SSF4 and I thought he could be successful but I’m not entirely sure of how he’s going to pan out in AE. Especially now when rushdown characters are right at the top.
not being able to attempt to punish throw attempts and “hop” over lows at close range is a really big blow for me as a player to be honest. I think now that its summer and I’m pretty much done with school I’m going to sink time into learning a worthwhile character.
