A top tier actually does mean easy mode character. Not overpowered, not cheap, but easy to play with. Just play Ryu, Balrog, Rufus for a few days. Its just so easy to get at a relatively good level with such characters…

And yeah, Chun is similar to Vega to an extent, but she just can do everything better than Vega, better Footsies, better keepaway and pressure game, a viable reversal and useful Super & Ultras… Thats why shes at the top and Vega isnt…

Has it been confirmed that you can’t Ultra 2 off of a Cosmic Heel anymore? How much did they really increase the start up? Is it still viable as an AA?

The developer’s blog QA said that it was still possible, probably only as AA now (as opposed to before you can do it as AA or at the very tip.)

I haven’t seen any vidoes of it being AA, I think someone said it was way too slow now.

Its a punisher, except its now harder to land than Bloody High Claw. In fact it always was a punisher, not an AA. Being able to combo into it, was an accidental buff. In fact you can still land it after you punish an whiffed SRK and start it with Cosmic Heel.

Always was, imo, except the first 2-4 months of super. then my friends wised up and bam, your shitty Ultra is shitty ha-ha. Which made me look into Ultra 1. The only redeming quality of Ultra 2 was combo of Cosmic Heel on punishing moves that made one airborne, or the invul frames.

BTW, how is my gen coming along. Shitty right? I know you thought it was sexy when i punished a whiffed st.hk with Gen’s Ultra 1.

Hey, guys. I’m going to play some AE this Sunday at Milpitas Golfland and test out a few things with Claw, namely ST invincibility (hopefully if anyone hasn’t tried it yet) and Cosmic Heel stuff. I’ll try and see if I can record anything I find. I’ll give an update later regardless.
