Basics or not its still extremely important. Little things im a game such as street fighter i have found can make a huge difference and completely turn things around.
My BP and PP have drop since AE, dont know if its due to the nerf or perhars players are still undertated
Hahaha, I have been terrible at this game longer than my time playing ST and I wasn’t thinking much about the game back then because I can just aimlessly do frame traps with ST Ryu’s REALLY FAST fireballs and AA with srk. But with SFIV fireballs are not as great as back then, with FAs and anti projectiles moves being prominent in that game I had to relearn the basics in SFIV in not just mindset but also playstyle as well as getting comfortable again since I did not touch SFIII. Thta said though, I like to say that AFTER the learning period, I got an understanding of the game that got even deeper as I watched the EVO 2k9 SFIV tourneys. It takes patience to actually be good. Hell I only figure out his usual keep away combo (CR.HP>L.tatsu. L.hado) 1 YEAR after playing SFIV. Besides my name already said that much.
