The really bad thing imo is that this isn’t like Guilty/Arcana/Marvel where there’s always the possibility new stuff will be found given characters’ options and potential. Rose is basic in a limited engine, so we’re most likely only getting exactly what we see.
And if we do find something remotely interesting, they’ll take it out. Like that reflect trick I made some videos of in original SF4 :lol:

Lol but seriously, I take back the optimism I had earlier in this thread, I find it hard to be positive about these nerfs. I think we just got “Gen’d”.
Ive been playing a bit of AE on weekends here and there (I think I have like 200 matches on my card or something), and I havnt really “felt” any difference to her normals. Im sure they did nerf hitboxes on those if they said they did, but I honestly dont think its going to make Rose suck that much worse. Ultra 2 is the biggest deal and im still getting used to how bad it sucks now.
Doesnt really matter cuz once Marvel drops im just gonna play a lot of that (and of course still mainly GG)
hitboxes DO often change as moves animate (creep forward or backwards). however with rose’s c.mp the effect is minimal, and the hurtbox is indeed altered in AE (extended aka. worse).
check the hitbox videos yourself if you don’t believe me.
i havent noticed any changes on the hitbox as they animate. its not like both the hitbox on her mk and c.mp shrunk or get bigger depending on which active frame.
if you want to get into the exact frame, go ahead. the point of the comparison is to show how the hitbox has shrunk.
