Does anyone know if April 27th is the ship date for the game or is the actual release date? I used to work for TRU and certain games would be either one or the other.

My friends and I are hoping to find somewhere that will have it at Midnight on the 26th, but chances are really slim if the ship date is the 27th.

Most likely the latter seeing as how much the date is being mentioned by Capcom.

Doubtful. Everyone panicked when it came to getting the TE stick and they are still available. I’m sure the SSF4 TE will be the same. Don’t expect the price to drop on the Super version, but you’re going to start to see regular TE’s for $99 pretty soon, I’m sure.

Not really. The PS3 has compatibility issues with non-Intel or non-VIA chipsets.
Apparently some newer intel models (P55?) also have issues.
So for max compatibility, get the 360 TE unless you want to go out and buy a VIA PCI USB controller (granted that you can get one under $30 US retail or probably a lot less at your local computer store)
