Stand Strong into BUFFERABLE Far Fierce?!? Without Counter Hit?!? Holy hell!!! I abuse the shit out of Close Strong for Frame Traps already, now I feel like I can get a ton of damage off of it super easily. And if Low Jab into Far Fierce into Drill IS a Combo like they said… How fast did they make Far Fierce to Combo in those situations?

Far Fierce may have turned into the move that I’ve been wanting all along to improve her Footsies game. I’m suddenly very excited again, kind of how I was when we found out that, in Super, her Cross-up became good.

The combo does look sexy, was just about to post it myself. Hit-confirming off of vertical rh isn’t much of a go, though. I hope they left the 120 far strong damage in.

That’s not even the best part. Did you see the range BUFFFFFFFFFFF on CSpike? It used to be like the only DP in the game you couldn’t hitconfirm into, and now it is possible to combo it after Far Fierce.:looney:

You know… I didn’t even think about that. I’ve LONG complained that the grounded horizontal range on the Cannon Spike is GOD AWFUL in this game. If they made it behave more like ST Cannon Spike, I will be so happy, I will do the [media=youtube]GfPg5LjGYz8"[/media]!!! I hope it’s actually a range buff and not just Standing Far Fierce “pushing” Cammy forward a little.

Damn I totally wanted to post this video. I’m definitely going to have fun with that combo, but I wouldn’t rule out the spike only hitting because it was T Hawk’s massive hitbox…

Damn, didn’t think of that. But I seriously doubt it, it doesn’t look like it pushes her forward THAT much. Plus it looks like Far Fierce still causes a lot of pushback on hit.

OK jesus christ it doesn’t matter, that was a cancel, not a link. You can cancel far st. hp now, so you could SA off that too. And off an an EX CS you can easily do cr. hp, far. hp xx SA/CS. She’s gonna be able to stun in two combos like Abel now?

Also b’n’b is now cr. lp, st. mp, far hp xx SA/CS???

OK yeah, so based on her CURRENT stun data you would get:

(CS/EXCS) > cr. lp > st. mp > far hp xx HK SA: 436 (478)

(CS/EXCS) > cr. hp > far hp xx HK SA : 544 (586)

Now they probably nerfed HK SA stun with it’s damage, and if far st. hp is cancellable it’s probably not 200 stun anymore. BUT HEY. I can dream.

Really though, being able to combo into far hp as a combo ender is great though, that even hits Juri no problem.

Combos like cl.strong cr. forward xx spike already work on Hawk, so it may just be him and not spike :confused:

As for her far fierce, I’d be surprised if it wasn’t brought down to 90 dmg or something.

But Cammy did n.J. Roundhouse before cl. Strong, Far Firece xx CS, that’s more pushback. Are you sure n.J. Rh, cl. Strong, cr. Forward xx CS works on him? I’m at work so I can’t test it now.

Far fierce moves Cammy’s body hitbox forward more than any other normal of hers. we’ll just have to wait and see.

My point was I don’t know why it would even matter if you can combo into spike off of far. hp, when comboing into SA is going to still be better almost everytime I figure. I guess you can maybe FADC into Ultra off it, but imo not worth it unless it’s going to win you the round (what with wanting the meter for EX CS even more now). On the plus side I can’t cancel into a DP off a crouching normal very well, so this DOES make that option easier at least.

That and I didn’t believe you could actually cancel far hp, even though the change lists pretty much said that, people kept being so fuzzy with the translations that I wasn’t sure until I actually saw it in the video now.

And speaking of that, didn’t they say you could do cr. lp, cr. lp > far hp xx SA at some point? That would mean either cr. lp is +7 (unlikely) or far hp is now 6 frames startup (more likely, and would mean it’s a 2 frame link off st mp or cr. hp).

Well being able to combo into spike from that distance pushes the enemy too far to follow up with ultra anyway.

So, assuming Far HP has the same startup as before doesn’t that make cr.lp ar least +7 on hit? Wow. :amazed: She pretty much has ryu level comboability at this point plus a cancellable Far Fierce. Now all we need is for cr. strong to be +7 too. :looney:

I don’t think that matters when you FADC, because you do that on the ground. You can still combo into Ultra if they’re close to the corner though.

I really think far hp is just 6 frame startup instead… +7 cr lp is way beyond Ryu comboability, that means you could combo into literally anything off it other than close or far hk (lol). If that’s the case though, hell I’ll take it. Actually I guess that is kind of like Ryu combo, since most his relevant normals are 4/5 frame startup, while Cammy’s are anywhere from 4-7 frames.

Also just having this make people easier to lock down on BLOCK is going to be so nice (assuming +3-4 on block instead of the +1 we get now).

Yeah +7 is like Balrog cr.jab hitstun. If they give it Rog level blockstun (+4) that might be a little too good lol. A Cammy that could pressure like Rog and have increased damage output on top of everything she can already do sounds really scary.
