Actually I do neutral jump quite often and vs shotos only from time to time.4-5K PP shoto players usually always punish jump ins with DP,but rarely any neutral jumps for some reason unless I neutral jump twice.They usually block the first neutral jump.
I usually do neutral jp. HP cr. MK and overhead.
I do this mainly after a cross up jp. LK and then I neutral jump immediately.
I have seen GeoM MoD doing this quite often.
really? so cross up LK > neutral jump HP > target combo? if this is right, thanks man. i dont use neutral jump enough but i will integrate this. Nice to know that neutral jump up close is relatively safe on high level shotos. thanks again man

hey Nem, isn’t UDK 0 on block. I’m PRETTY sure it was 0 in AE and there’s no way they would buff it that much
And also from what i saw of the Arcadia Mook for AE the forward air throw is the one that covers the top of him and back breaker is lower

yeah the SRK thing and the one I have on my phone say that in AE he was 0 on block, and I think it was only a +1 buff when you got hit by the UDK
cant believe SRK hasnt updated their frame data for Guile UDK yet. Even if block was also improved by a frame, we wouldnt even know it

J.hk crossup in the first round might be useful in the Sagat matchup.
what!!! ive landed this by luck but i think its a glitch. no way this is reliable… gotta try this out… not reliable unless its at a specific distance?
I was wondering the same,but I don’t think it is a glitch.I have only landed jp.HK cross up vs Bison and Blanka by luck.
In my case the jump in itself didn’t look like a cross up (the jump in distance was larger than the replay above) at first which is why both players did block into the wrong direction.
I was also surprised that it was a cross up.
It seems like Balrog can cross up too with jp.HK.
J.hk crosses up easier in the corner on most of the cast with backthrow into corner, move back a little then c.mp or delay c.mp then j.hk. It wasn’t a very late FK in the vid so that might be a factor too. It also seems like it would’ve hit in front if I’d pressed hk earlier.
I also had j.hk crossup before in a mid screen setup with backthrow, front dash and I can’t remember exactly whether it was a delay or walk back then j.hk.
Bison’s crossup hp is very similiar to Guile’s j.hk crossup with regards to the timing and both have a similiar downward angle imo. The hard part about Guile is that it’s not easy to set it up from a backthrow and Guile will get AAed if he tries it from a front throw.
Sometimes j.hk also will crossup the opponent if they screw up their timing on a front dash to go under the jump-in.
Yes, I worked on that crumple for a week but gave up writing literature since noone paid attention(except Nem, thx buddy), everything I tested is on page 16 of guiles combo thread, ill paste a bit of the post here. SSF4 midscreen,lvl2 or lvl 3> UDK>s.hp>sb>fadc>ghk>FK, Confirmed: 469 damage 710 stun. at level 3… and 409 damage at level 2

How much dmg will Guile get if you add SH into the combo?
I dont remmember to be honest, I think you do the same damage if you just do SH to chip him after he wakes up(you save the 2 bars).
