Warahk, I think you’re making the same mistake I am. I’ve been so eager to really utilize Guile’s UDK, that I over use it. After every jump in I go for it, or blocked cross ups and the opponents just predict when you’re fishing for the OS tech. Although it’s nice because it makes it easier to throw them, you should try it the other way around. Train them with throws, then go for the UDK and follow with a more damaging combo.

yeah i definitely dont throw enough in my tick throw/frame trap game. i will mix in more throws, thanks. also here i was still trying to figure out the new properties on UDK.

Man, Warahk gets so much shit after he left the match vs Buktooth, but he is definitely the most solid Guile in the US.

Nah. GHK is terrible vs bison. Just saying in general… it feels great to land it or see someone land it.
The same sense of satisfaction when Bison’s do the fake stomp to Devil Reverse only to land into a fwd dash Ultra 1.

Can someone please tell me what modinside did at :18? It’s a flash kick trade into U1? How? D:
I haven’t figured that one out yet… looks like it’s all part of the same motion so maybe it’s something like… down-back -> up-forward + kick (trade) -> down-back -> up-forward + KKK sort of like how you do a flash kick cancel to super. I’ve tried it a few times but haven’t gotten it so I’m just as curious…

as i mentioned in my post 11 months ago, it only works against light jumping attacks. anything else, and the hit stun will be too long and you lose your ultra charge. you will notice GoeM video was also against a light attack.
