System: PS3, James Games currently has one PS3 set up but we will have a second set up come the time of the tournament (Our second set up may be an xbox 360). If you wish to play on a specific console we will do our best to accommodate you. Matches will be played on PS3 If both teams cannot agree to play on the same console. In the event of two pad players of different consoles being paired against each other and a console to play on cannot be agreed upon the the match will be played on PS3. I know this may come as an inconvenience to some so here is a link to cool little trinket that may come in handy to some of you pad players 360 to PS3 Adapter
Controllers: This is a BYOC event. THAT MEANS BRING YOUR OWN CONTROLLER. James Games will have two PS3 arcade sticks to loan out though, one Madcatz TE and one Hori Real Arcade Pro 3.
Rules for borrowing an arcade stick from [COLOR=“Magenta”]James Games[/COLOR]: You must leave a valid form of ID with the attendant to borrow an arcade stick and you must also return the stick immediately after your finish your match.
How Much: $15 Team Entry + $9 Team Venue Fee = $24 Per Team, That equals $8 Per player.
Player Cap: 32 Teams
Rules: Double Elimination, Pokemon Format. Multi Character teams are allowed and yes, that means you can have a Rufus/Rufus/Rufus team if you want, but that would just make you GAY!!! Winner may NOT change his or her ultra. Winners and losers bracket matches are one set. Winners and Losers finals are 2/3 sets and Grand finals are 3/5 sets
Pausing or any other type of interference with the game will be dealt with on a case by case basis by staff, expect to take a round loss though :nono:
