SlipHole79 thought he (AFromatic1234) would win, and he did. I played him after the tourney and I won just one round out of about 17. He plays a very aggressive Ryu, and used cr.MK xx Super frequently. But then Hadoolket joined the room and beat him two rounds straight, finishing with Final Atomic Buster each time.

Just my luck, I got matched up with the tourney winner in the 1st round. I really thought I had him. I almost perfected him in Round 1, Match 1. Then he destroyed me round 2, and we had a close game round 3.
Match 2, it was all bullshit. My super didn’t come out when I wanted it to! It would have chip damaged him for the win for me, but instead I got screwed over with a stupid sweeping leg kick.
I really think if I played Afro 10 times, I could take 4 matches from him. He’s very good, but I can beat him.

No, Afro Legends plays Honda. Afromatic plays Ryu. You can search for the name AFromatic on YouTube and many vids will come up of him playing Ryu. The play style is somewhat chaotic and he does give openings. Unusual for a Ryu.
I almost took several rounds in the casual matches, but always blew it at the end. That’s my talent.

am i missing something here? I have never seen him play honda. The only characters i seen him play is dj, boxer and ryu. yet he doesn’t play on ps3 from what i heard.

Afro Legends? I didn’t know he played on PSN, as well. I’d love to play him again; we last played on GGPO over a year ago and I was blown away by his skill level. But, that was then and this is now. :wgrin:
