This is just I reminder for those who have forgotten.
In regards to PS3 version only.
As mentioned by P.G., most disconnections, whether it’d be network errors, time-outs, etc. count as a LOSS…Unfortunately. ( T.T)
Most of the people (like me) who are lagging are actually from countries other than USA.
In my case, Melbourne, Australia (internet connections suck in my country).
The scoreboard is pretty much BS, imho, and is just as bad as the PS3 MK II Online scoreboard in terms of the scoring system.
I mean why the need for a “rating” score??
This game (I’m talking about SSFIITHDR only, not the normal SSFIIT, which by the way, on Dreamcast is an absolute dream to play…no pun intended) sucks, because we all know that Street Fighter II Turbo Hyper Fighting was and still is the greatest fighting game ever created, in terms of overall technical perfection. ( ^o^)/
GhaleonUnlimited – my Sagat is basic but I get by, trying to find good players and learn ST nuances. I think I’m done with scoreboard matches since A: It’s mostly ass players and B: I took losses from both my router and OTHER PEOPLE disconnecting blasting me from top 50 to 150, awesome.
They should probably change those losses to a ‘disconnect’ category. As for the scoreboard, I think the rating is used to gauge the ‘quality’ of the player to better determine rank changes.
I’ll be playing tonight. I need to go out and get a good stick as the pad is horrendous. Hit me up tonight, psn is originaldarkito. I’m sticking to rog and cammy untill i get a stick.
I’m running my PS3 on wireless and it works fine. Of course, I get a 100% signal since my router is right next to my PS3. Also, put your smoothing on high. It does wonders.
Dam, PSN does not accept my credit card. I need to buy a dam psn card and I can’t find one near home.
I will have to buy a psn card online…
BTW curenlty downloading the Soundtrack for free so I can at least enjoy something.
