I’d like to see if we could make an EU/US division to help mitigate any connection issues, depending on whether the EU gets enough participants. Completely down for this though seems like a great idea, wonder if CFN will allow us to make leagues? I’d appreciate that.
What’s the minimum entrants going to be…I’d assume somewhere around 10/12-ish, and how is score-keeping going to work?(Reporting match results, video evidence required or not in case someone gets salty and lies like a little pansy) Just asking in advance so we get something orderly come the first week. Keep everything clean and simple for the players and everyone is gonna want me to body them weekly.

Hopefully the new netcode can help with cross the pond connections, We will see how things perform at launch then go from there. I have no idea about the minimum amount of entrants, we will see how sign ups go.
Score keeping will be recorded in a google doc that everyone will have access too, as well as on the website http://challonge.com/ From there we can keep each session separated and archived just in case anyone wants to go back and relive former glory.
Its very much a work in progress, so with input hopefully we can get all the details ironed out and fined tuned by release. Also would love to get a youtube channel for match moments and what not.

We should have mods for the discord group that will be in charge of updating scores as players report their results in the ‘Ranbats results’ channel (or whatever you want to call it). Both players should report the result in that channel and if there is any dispute between the result, have a mod view the save replay (which should be saved every time for any possible disputes and youtube uploading).
Mods are allowed to enter the tournaments themselves as well of course.
It would be cool to have a weekly stream for people to watch as well, one of the mods could stream high rank player matches (high as in the srk ranbat ranks) while other players continue to play in the tournament so the tournament doesn’t get bogged down on time?

We can have a mod make the discord reporting page if need be, all matches will be uploaded to CFN replay channel, that way we can solve any disputes that may surface and have easy access to the videos if we wanted to throw them on a Youtube channel. I can limit the points page to a select few who can edit if there is a problem with collusion or what not.
Streaming the tournaments would be fun hopefully we can get things running here smoothly, I should have everything outlined by this weekend if not earlier.
