SRK's Random Fighting Game Trivia Thread

Arent they the same color ie. 2 red kens?

Yeah, I don’t know about the bonus stage in T5…

But man, how’d you miss Waku Waku 7?!!

The game was crap to me at the time, but I don’t know what I might think about it now. Seems like VF. As for the question, wasn’t it a bull or a cow? And… you have to stay inside the ring for a certain amount of time?

Is it his Standing MP paused in place?
I’m just going my memory of what both of them look like.

Nope thats not it.

If your answer was true, it would also apply to Ken’s. But its only for Ryu. Not in A1, just A2/3.

ST didn’t have bonus stages. :looney:

Fatal Fury 2 also had bonus stages.

So did World Heroes (all up to WH Perfect).

I remember SFEX2+ with bonus stages too…the falling satellite thing.

Did Max Impact 2 have bonus stages? I remember an old screenshot with a bulldozer or something.

Pretty much. => Ushi, a fighting cow, unlocked by staying in the ring longer than one minute in Rodeo, and can’t be KO’d or thrown out of the ring or the unlock will be unsuccessful.

Lol why did I say tekken 5, obviously my memories shit and I dont play many fighting games with bonus stages >_>

SF1 (bricks)
SFEX1 (barrels)
IK+ (balls)
Sonic the Hedgehog?
Probably the earliest one of all was Gauntlet (1985)

Notice anything?

No armpit hair?

Anyways, TMNT- Tournament Fighters had a bonus stage also, a hilarious one where vaults would move horizontally in mid-air if the ones underneath it were destroyed.

Unlike his other arm raised poses, he’s smiling.

Words, words, words…

  1. What is written on the back of Terry Bogard’s classic red star Jacket?

  2. What is written on the back of K’s jacket?

  3. What do the 4 kanji symbols on Ryu’s black belt stand for?

“A Beast Of Fire”

Nope. In alpha 2 and 3, he has 2 different faces for the same pose. Face on the right is slightly different than the one on the left, and both appear in A2 and A3.

  1. I’m not sure.

  2. It says “A beast of Prey”

  3. Fuu kin rin zan
    Swift as the wind,
    silent as the forest,
    fierce as the fire,
    immovable as the mountain

Four of them.
vs Metal Slug/Slug Tank 1.0 (with or without mines)
Push off Todoh’s bulldozer
Destroy the car
Moai Carving

Final Fight Streetwise is practically a game made up from bonus stages…

I don’t know if the kanji you quote are the ones on the belt but I know for sure that what you meant is “Fuu Rin Ka Zan” and not fuu kin rin zan…
