Dhalsim aka “The Other Glitcher”
Sagat was not selectable in WW.
You just stick to talking 'bout MK.
Mature.
shooting out in the dark and going to say sub-zero, sonya, and jax
i dont really know much about the more obscure MK’s like gb/gba and shit i do member scorp being missing from MK3 though, which is so weird since its boons favorite character
uh
Gen from Street fighter alpha, Toki from hokuto no ken, Baldhead from guilty gear (pxs) and Ukyo from Samurai Spirits
The brothers call him DHA - SLIM in new orleans.
oh damn i completely forgot bwhahah oh well its been so long since ive touched either…
sub-zero only?
This is correct
Besides Joe and King, KOF Angel’s stance, as well as a few of her moves, seem to be Muay Thai derivatives.
If wrestling games count, Swedish submission move specialist Wolf McSchneider from Fire Pro Gaiden: Blazing Tornado also suffers from some unspecified disease. His ending sees him passing away after winning the championship belt. BTW, his BGM is quite haunting.
New challenge: name at least three 2D fighting game characters who can attack their opponents with coins.
I wouldn’t blame the programming. It was merely because the concept hadn’t been invented.
In fact, it’s interesting to think about it - if mirror matches had been invented much earlier, Ken would not exist…
Nearly forgot this one. I’d go with Renegade, 1986, the same answer to the other question.
This one is difficult :S
Johnny, Anakaris, Rubyheart (???)
It is difficult, yes. Johnny is correct, but AFAIK neither Anakaris nor Ruby Heart have Coin-related moves.
Hints: one of the characters I have in mind hails from the same franchise as Johnny, and the third, whose catch copy is “Mr. Gamble”, actually has an Iaidou-inspired move!
Doesn’t Anakaris just spit out coins in one of his win poses?

You’re right. I forget that it’s just his victory pose. As for the second character, it’s Faust. I almost forgot he could throw coins.
Name every game with a bonus round.
Try not to repeat questions, albeit you might be specifically talking about “during the match itself”.
And I only remember this because I answered “Anakaris’ special win pose and Poochie (Power Instinct Matrimelee) digging attack”.
Sorry, I hadn’t read through all of the pages. Anyway, I was thinking of Johnny, Faust and Falco from 1997’s Groove On Fight. This distinguished Englishman has a “slot machine” special move which can cause coins to fall from the top of the screen (or heal/shock him, or summon pigeons, or drop a large weight that makes both characters lose their footing). He also throws cards of varying sizes, and his cane doubles as a concealed sword.
This ones hard. I’m going to try what I remember
Street Fighter 2 (every)
Street Fighter 3: 2nd impact
Street Fighter 3:3rd strike
Tekken 5
Tekken 6
It’s been a hot minute since I’ve played fighting games with bonus stages.
Art of Fighting
Art of Fighting 2
Fatal Fury
Samurai Shodown
Where were the bonus stages in Tekken 5???
To the earlier comment:
There were mirror matches in WW, in the aracde version. You have to lose a match to the CPU then select that character.
My question:
What is an odd feature about Ryu’s arm raise win pose in Alpha 2 and Alpha 3?
In Fighter’s Destiny, what kind of animal did you fight in the rodeo mode? What was his name and what was the only way to beat him???
