The Gaia war was… well… I forgot how it started, but SA.M ended up skeet bombing all their forums, we came up with a Team Realness to attack the Gaia forums (myself, Jaehoon, fireiswet, SA.M, a whole bunch of others) and we spammed with threads all over. This is where a few of jokes we have on SRK come from (the whole argument about how Asians eat glass, for example). Strangely enough, even though we were constantly spamming the shit out of their forums, a lot of us had groupies and requests for cybersex. That’s Gaia for you.
Haha. I remember that. It was intense. I cant remember why I didnt like you at first. Somewhere in the midst of our last flame war you started to grow on me I think.
Some fucker from Gaia came over to SRK spammed the boards. Orange Cat found out where the guy was from and wrote a review about the board. Eventualy someone made a thread on the board and had hillarious responses. Then another and eventually everyone organized and went to town. Myself, inverse, SAM, Colguile and others all raided the board and played off each other. SAM was easy the worst with the bukkake skeet skeet pics. We had some girls offered up. The best part was that we blamed everything on gamefaq’s and they started causing problems over there. Gamefags were about to retailiate and it would have been aweseome, if all went well.
But, eventually we had to delete the srk thread which had all the evidence of the gaia raids because someone led them back to SRK. They wouldn’t have found us but bloody defected to the gaians. That ended the 1st gaian war.
Some months later, the next one took place. Some new raiders and most of the team realness. Had some fun. The highlight was when the gaians found SRK since some of them had an idea it was us, and a couple asked us if we were the ones causing problems and EVERYONE just lied to them saying it was someone else. And they’re like “Wow, there were guys with the same screen names as you, they must have been trying to make you guys look bad.” The amount of sarcasim and displine to not saying anything incriminating was amazing. Then some people came in, said fuck you guys and a good laugh was had by all. Some of the gaians thought SRK was so cool, they came over and stayed.
The last great war was the 3rd. Where such great SRK jokes as surpise sex and asians eat glass came from. Lot’s of fun was had, but then bloody was again a dick and worked against us. Eventually mods became involved and they laid down the law saying no more raids. Since then a few people have done things solo here and there but not carrying the SRK flag.
But, man those were good times. Geeky as hell but fuck man making fun of furries/goths/emos/suidical kids was awesome. I don’t think anyone who was involved would tell you otherwise. We even had for awhile a post on wikipedia about forum invasion, which used SRK invading gaia as an example of such. I wonder what happend to that article.

If I’d made an “Up and Comers” list you would have been on it. OC got the nod because his tenure’s a bit longer and he’s done more in the long run (SRK Secret Santa, Mummy-B cowbell, etc).
I kind of think if you were to split OC in two, you’d have quiche and Stabby.

Great list. It’s amazing that such care was taken to remember these random dudes. When you step back and look at them are, they really are pretty interesting.
I think it all started when people were talking shit to me about one of my opinions and you came right in the middle and said something smart to me. After that we started going after each others throats for a couple years, then all of a sudden it just chilled out when you moved I think or announced your “retirement” from the boards.

SRK just couldn’t keep my interest anymore. So I vanished for almost two years. I popped up again, and SRK was pretty dead. Luckily, the '05 SRK BATTLE ROYALE was announced. It looked promising, and maybe would bring back SRK to the golden era of comedy and the awesome flaming I remembered it to be. A group of individuals agreed, and really pushed for it’s support. I signed up. Battle Royale turned some posters into e-bitches. Some of them who turned tail, were the very ones who were all for it and were delivered exactly what they asked for. (but grew a vagina and cried when it was delivered to them.) I was really let down by some of the reactions and turn coating. SRK lost all hope in my eyes after that point. I vanished again. I still checked in about once every 3 or 4 months, but it was always dead as shit. I managed to drop in again to see 2 or 3 of the recent '06 Battle Royale matches. They were really boring. It’s just not the same anymore. I still see that giveguicheachance is still beasting with the AV’s.
