It was quite a bit of fun; @“Trouble Brewing” and @LordWilliam1234 put on one HELLUVA show during Grand Finals, it was pretty dramatic I thought lol.
With that said, I’ve put out something of an APB through PM for all the other divisions to gauge interest in players participation as per @LordWilliam1234s suggestion; I didn’t include the EU division as I just don’t think there’s a way to match anyone up without online performance suffering dramatically.
Additionally, in an effort to improve any way I can I have to ask; how did everyone like the “Run” system vs. the old one as far as running sets? It seems like it was better for everyone schedule wise but that’s just my point of view on things and certainly not enough. Is there anything that you guys think I could have done, differently or better?
…and it doesn’t look like we’re gonna get much of a better turnout even with that

Welcome, and I apologize for that; the other mods that were running this sort of went their separate ways or very likely became too busy to run it; I was modding the East 1 division when that happened and I along with others wanted to keep playing so I’ve been kinda wingin’ it to keep the drive alive so to speak…

How do the runs work?
Thanks for the compliment, but it really wasn’t all me; this whole thing literally wouldn’t have made it if not for the players that were left and their commitment to the tattered remains that were the league lol.
As far as the “Run” system is concerned, rather than trying to tie points and matches to specific weeks I opted to simply do a series of runs. Match-ups are generated and everyone plays out their matches until the points sheet for the “1st Run” is full, then we move to the “2nd Run” and so on until we finish up the “3rd Run” sheet and move on to the tournament.
I tried it this way because it seemed to make sense as a lot of players have schedules that don’t allow them to play out each match-up on a strict week by week basis (some have more time during the weekend than they do during the week and vice versa); now people can play and not stress about having one more thing to squeeze into their possibly already busy week.
It’s not a perfect solution as things can still take some time to wrap up but if it gets to a point where league play can’t move along because we’re waiting on one or two match-ups where everyone else has finished in that respective “Run” then I’ll institute a one week deadline for those players to get their matches sorted so we can keep it moving.
I was waiting to see if I got anymore responses from my PM announcement as far as who still wanted to play or who was interested in starting up. That well seems to have dried up quite a bit; I’m gonna give it until the end of my work day today (around 1700), for any straggling replies then I’ll get to generating some match-ups for everyone tonight and have them up very shortly after that.

Just to reiterate for those new and returning; matches consist of ONE FT3 now not two FT2s. If you could please report your match results either in this thread with a tag directed at myself or through a PM that would be pretty swell; and of course there isn’t a real hard coded time limit, just do your best to get your matches in when you can for each run. The clock will however start ticking when the rest of the league is held up by one or two (maximum) matches; players will have one week from that moment to sort out matches or be forced to advance with either one player receiving points (a forfeit due to one party not communicating with the other) or both players getting goose eggs (no communication at all between players). Rest assured I’ll be diligent and won’t go handing out zeroes without assessing the situation as best I can first.
Things are uneven once again, so you’ll find my name absent from this particular run of match-ups until we get one more in the mix. I apologize for the delay and happy fighting!
