Matches vs. Arbie21 (DaMoney21)
Ryu vs. Ryu:
Loved how his Ryu has grown, DaMoney maximized usage of Ryu’s BnB combos at every opportunity. Good use of the Ultra whenever the opportunity presented itself. Only criticism is the miss timed focus attacks lead to free damage for me. Overall, I think your Ryu has grown tremendously.
Ryu vs. Rog:
Your Rog is a contender, once again, you have his BnB down and linking to Ultra/Super is no problem out of the headbutt. This proved to be my undoing. DaMoney was able to link his headbutt->ultra everytime I jumped when he had meter. Good job.
I think I will leave out that jump attack thing, your more advanced a player now to fall victim to that. More use of focus attack may work against you as one time I did use it, resulted in a V shield.
Good games bud, I’ll continue to look for you in the future. Connection was 3 bars but still solid gameplay.

I think c.lp does link into c.mk btw although I’m really just discovering all the terminology etc. As stated in one of my vids I realised that I play way too much of this game to not do some research and training and level up. This weekend is all about halloween and I have some friends over from the UK but I have a spare hour now for some training if anyone’s around. I live in NY as AsianTom said!

Strengths: Decent combos, good at zoning with Akuma, offensive with Ryu and Rufus.
Weaknesses: Wake up attacks, crossing up alot.

vs Hadouukid (i think it was you the whole time)
You Akuma was very solid against my other characters like Chun and Guile, but definitely didn’t fair so well against Bison. Bison has a lot of ways to get around your tactics with all his mobility, so I think you gotta find other ways in besides the demon flips. Those got to be predictable after a while and that’s when i tried Focus attacking them. You did a good job of landing the BnB combos when you got the chance so that’s a good thing, also you zoned well at times with fireballs, but you should do it more. Maybe bait ppl to jump with empty jumps than hit em with air fireballs, anything to be unpredictable and keep the opponent off guard.
You also did a good job of landing the Demon at various opportunities, and didn’t seem to do it too random, cept for maybe a few times. My one friend who uses Akuma beats me a lot and I think it’s mostly cause he has a stronger zoning/keep away game, so i think if you work on that you’d definitely improve.

The XBL tournament this sunday was fantastic! I just wanted to thank everyone who took the time to organize and run it. Great job and great turnout! I loved seeing all of the new XBL players.
There are lots of good match discussions goin on in the IRC channel, people! I’m really glad I started frequenting the channel. I’ve improved quite a bit already.
About the Tourney today…
It was great overall. There were a couple bumps like my original opponent not showing up, but there were back-ups so that was all good. The chat was perfect, main room with talk and results, then you could pm your opponent, which was convenient. I live in IL so there are barely an tourney’s out here. I remember the feeling i had when i though (thought because i didn’t go) was going to my first local tourney, and i felt that same feeling here. I get hyped for stuff like this, so this was a great experience for me. Faced some good people, saw what i can improve on, so it also helped me get better. This should definitely happen again. It was run really well
XBL Tournament was a blast. To all those that missed it, Better luck next time or should i say hurry the fuck up and join next time!!
Good games to everyone that played. I know i had fun, got to test where my Guile was at because of the new switch from Ryu. It was running a lot smoother than i thought it would except the small wait time for no/late shows but it didn’t really affect the tournament much ( Of course it’s online only so can’t expect it to run as smooth as a local one but i’m sure, soon it would, 
Hopefully ). As small as the tournament was, there was quite some competition to go up against so i would recommend anyone that has the time to come on this forum to join the next coming XBL Tournament and come join the IRC family for some Casuals / Training if your serious about getting better.
Also to all those that came to play today, I would recommend you guys to go to the Feedback Website and Register / Give Feedbacks to your opponents. I think all of use deserves to know where they are with their characters/skills are at! That’s probably why this forum was named XBL Training Team? (Maybe? >.<).
