Vs Vietxmikey
Very hype player. All I can say is don’t do so many EX rush punches from full screen, and stop jumping in so much, but I know you only did so because I failed to punish.
Vs. NinjaCW
Best Ryu I have ever played. I did not really see much you did wrong.
Vs Luken
I couldn’t really find nothing wrong as we seemed to be very evenly matched up, though I think you know more about SF than I.
Only thing I could really offer is not let me jump in on you as much but I was pretty random with it and I know I had you wondering about a lot of what I was gonna do in terms of getting in.
Is it almost time for me to play my opponent yet?
here are some videos of me playing against kyroc 4 ever and poopons8n. I will post feedback about the matches later on tonight or tomorrow.

I’ve been trying to run a tournament every 2 weeks, but I’ll be on vacation this weekend for about 5 days so I cannot organize one. If anyone wants to help out and start one then please do so.
I recommended making it on Sat or Sun and only those who show gets to participate. Makes finishing it much easier.
Tournament 2 is still not done right now and I haven’t heard from anyone other than Mr SNK who’s stuck in the winner’s bracket with no opponent. Just because we’re not going to do that format anymore, I’ll just let it sit until someone decides they want to play, otherwise, you can consider yourself the winner. (TBH, you’d win probably win anyways).
Anyways, back on subject, if someone wants to run the next tourney in my stead than give me a PM and I’ll help you set it up.
I’d vote for Saturday… I have more time then
Too fresh to give rep, but props to MartinRob for putting up those vids. I know it helped me asses my game.
Vs. NinjaCW
GG’s man to describe your ryu the only word i can come up with is solid. You made the necessary adjustments in every game to win ever match really solid footsies good fire ball pressure good use of our AA even when i wasn’t predictable with it you really made me play a slow paced game and i was not in the mood for that (even though i play chun li ) anyway’s gg’s and we should play again.
Vs.Luken
GG’s man i kinda was in the mood to play ryu after getting stomped out ninjacw so i was kinda more focus on that chun and ryu matchup but gg’s let me know when u wanna play again
Hopefully I catch up to NinjaCW’s level of play soon. To my understanding, his knowledge of match-ups is very great.
Although you stomped me, those were some good games we had.
The people I want to beat now are Frylock, NinjaCW, and Killakelly (You really destroyed me.)
** Vs. MartinRob**
You have improved a lot since the last time we played. Now the times when I would constantly do Tatsumaki is because I wanted you to learn to punish when you saw them, because there were so many times when you could have punished, but you blocked instead. Then after the match when I did that you got the idea somewhat, but I was surprised when you correctly timed one through my Hadoken. The things that would make your game better is more throw mix-ups,more cross up tatsu’s, and learn some better links off of the rush punch… well, just better links over all.
You’re pretty much on the same level I am hehe. And for the most part I know nothing of match ups but I guess I was playing against Ryu right lol
Vs Luken27
You hit me with a few Lvl 2 focus attacks, but you didn’t really capitalize on them. I think the most damaging thing you hit me with after the crumple was a sweep lol. I know you’re good with links cuz you were hitting me with some nasty combos at other times, so just do one of those in the future.
Besides that, you played well. You did a good job of predicting my fireballs and punishing accordingly. It was a little laggy, so I walked into some fireballs and mistimed a couple of ultras, but not too bad for a Cali <-> Hawaii connection, I suppose. Oh, and I should’ve taken that last round I crumpled you with a focus attack and instead of doing ultra for the win, I went for the BnB combo and I think I messed up. Not clutch.
GGs man.
Haha, I’m normally like that. But I have to make sure the other player is there and can hear me. When I’m hyped like that, I tend to think differently and actually try my hardest to win. If it’s silent it tends to get really boring and I play dumb as hell.
“WSUP SON?!!?” Haha
You are right though, I need to stop doing EX rush punches full screen. Especially the rush uppers. @_@
If you are throwing Fireballs from max range and they aren’t neutral jumping, try to move or not move to scroll the screen so they still fall on it. The first FB could have hit if you didn’t move forward.
Gotta punish harder on those whiffed/blocked SRK’s. At the minimum, cr.HP xx SRK or cr.HP xx Tatsu if you want to move them to the corner. (Which you did in Round 2, but I had already type this for Round 1  )
In match 2, you threw some long distance EX Fireballs which seemed wasted to me. Throw them closer as pokes. Even if you got a knockdown on a EX FB at this range, you wouldn’t be able to get close enough to pressure them back from that far away.
I always try to hang onto 2 stocks for intimidation factor. Keeps them on the ground. Towards the end of Round 1 Match 2. You had quite a bit of time left on the clock. Hang back and throw fireballs and neutral/back jump tatsu or LP SRK after a FB to build meter. Get those 2 stocks first and then get back in the fight.
After the knockdown at 3:54, he did not move back at all, this is clearly a crossup. SRK it.
Try to hit deeper with the AA SRK. You’ll do more damage and trade less.
If you do trade, get that Ultra out!
Overall, you are doing good. I’m gonna have to be a lot more careful next time we play.
That was the first time that I have made that many mistakes in one match. I had no clue what I was thinking.
Good games over all, and yeah you should have taken that last round, I had put my hand over my face because I thought it was over (Peeping through the cracks of my fingers).

I have the confidence.
Characters: Balrog (Boxer)
Strengths: Decent combo execution. Good throw game.
Weaknesses: Weak mixup and pressure games. Fall into bad habbits of random headbuts when presured.
Characters Good VS: Shotos
Characters Bad VS: Vega (Claw), Sagat, Zangief (unless I’m in a patient mood).
What I Need to Practice: Execution, Mixups, Patience. Also, I would like to develop a more aggresive playstyel. Mine is too safe at times.
You found my thread Justin!

What I Need to Practice: Practice cross-up rolls after the throw (Blanka) and learn all the match-ups with the characters I mentioned Characters Bad VS.
Yup, wasn’t even searching for it. I was looking up Fei Long tips or something (I was thinking of trying him out until last night). I saw your tag and wasn’t totally sure it was you until I saw the picture of your custom arcade stick.
Good idea on this thread btw, I was thinking yesterday I was slacking between our local matches on Saturday.
vs Dannkk
Good corner set-ups, cross-up tatsus, and linking. I don’t think you landed any of your dp fadc ultra attempts. Aside from that, there were a few random ultras that cost you a few matches. And you should work on teching out of throws (something I also really need to improve). The matches were a lot of fun. Just let me know when you want to play more.
