@crotchpuncha: In general, you have a large group of uninformed (civs) vs. a small group of informed (mafia). The purpose of the game is to eliminate the opposing players through the lynching/Killing process. Every day phase the whole group chooses a player to lynch, and every night phase the mafia choose a target to kill. The identities of mafia players are not given, and it is for you to figure them out through the gameplay.

I find it hilarious Vynce is already talking about ‘trust’ when the game hasn’t even started yet. Anyways, I enjoy that last mafia game and the special roles here is more straightforward. Count me in if there is still room.
Post-edit: I’ve only known the memes on this game and never actually beat any of the Phoenix Wright games, do I still qualify?
There certainly are. 
Be very careful if you get the medic role again. The medic in this game actually blocks all special civs abilities.
