Ghost trick is another good game, a very nice twist at the end. I have got to play that one over again too.
so… i’m behind on like 150 posts in this thread, is there discussion of the upcoming mafia game or just of the Ace Attorney games?

It starts up in 9 days. Now we’re getting our pre-game shenanigans on, cause we all know Fuzz is guilty.
Yes, I am guilty now. But will I be guilty once the game starts? I have been mafia 100% of the games I’ve played in, so according to Noodle’s math I can’t read that means I will be mafia in this game.
To get this thread back on track (unlikely), what option would everyone choose if they were mafia? I think it’d depend on who you have in the mafia already.
Eh, playing theory fighter right now would end up putting this into civilian easy mode before the game even starts. I’m not inclined to answer this because I’m not sure what side I’m on yet, will want to win, and don’t want to die too early in the process.

The extra person seems like a bigger advantage to me.
But I might be saying that as a person who has never played AA and will undoubtedly miss out on tons of subtle allusions people will place in their posts to role claim without role claiming.
seriously though the biggest mindfuck in this game are the UC and the dUC. i really hope i dont get one of those roles. not knowing which you are is just fucking crazy.
Not to mention that your target of the investigation may be given to the Mafia side.

I just bought phoenix wright on amazon, I wanted to pick it up local but the shops near me didn’t have it in stock.
When it was in my cart, amazon said “People who bought this also bought:”
and it was tons of buttons and joysticks. SRK must have a bigger mancrush on this game than I thought

Are there any other games that are similar to Ace Attorney, aside from Ghost Trick? I’ve been replaying Trials & Tribulations, and Turnabout Beginnings convinced me that AA is the greatest video game series I’ve ever played. Is there anything else out there that can get close to what T&T achieved?
Well, you’d have to look to pretty involved Visual Novels/Point and Click Adventures to get the same feel.
With all the hype of this upcoming Mafia game, decided to read book 1 of the Phoenix Wright comic today in B&N. Now i have the urge to use ‘OBJECTION’ whenever spidey-sense tingling.
I posted a couple pages back about Hotel Dusk(you can get it for like 5 bucks at gamestop i believe) and its sequel the last window(import on amazon).
This is seriously one of my favorite ds series. Give it a try, it is not cartoonish like the AA games or Ghost trick but it has its own unique charm.
