Honestly though, he was kind of fucked in the first one he played.
He vouched for Dramatix, who never checked in, and was starting to get a ton of lynch votes. Suddenly, Dramatix comes in and apologizes about now showing up, but his computer crashed and he couldn’t check the PMs.
Everyone called him out on the PMs, and knew at that point he had made the dumbest mistake in mafia history and literally outed himself as mafia in his first three posts, and the lynch wagon was strong. But Ben, however, still defended him up until his death.
So of course, next day phase, everyone was hung up on the fact that Ben had defended Dramatix, and rallied against him. He didn’t try to defend himself, he just rolled over and took it when he had a vital role.
Don’t know if he used his ability in his one night phase, so who knows?
Interesting history of Beef Jerkins’ first mafia game.
Was that the same game where Bulldancer was going “Kill me” for half of it but nobody wanted to actually lynch him?
Eh, I do commend their efforts to try and streamline 4 cases worth of game into a two hour movie. Some things could’ve been handled better though and in no way is it a serviceable replacement for actually playing AA1.
The problem with having to streamline everything though is that you pretty much killed a lot of characterization that was built up in the cases not shown at length in the movie.
Yeah. I was the only one who actually tried to do it. I did vote to lynch him 2nd day before I died. Then after watching the rest, I decided he was in the civ group, by like day 3 or 4.
