Did Co-Jones say anything about being busy when he checked in? BD is our next lowest poster but he’s already explained his absence.
Also, as far as I know Mobius and myself are the newest players here.

I wasn’t here for most of the day for 2 reasons:
Working in the AM.
And I come home only to experience a power outage while I was watching the Bears game…
Anyways, what’s the current plan on the lynch?
I also realized that it must really suck to tag me with that @ symbol. I got a space AND a hyphen to summon me.
My bad guys.
By our summoning powers combined
I’m not really sure. We had started to debate the merits/disadvantages to lynching wallflowers. Hence why you were being summoned.
So, other than the biasing fact that you’re our lowest poster, what do you think about that strategy?
I have only played the Phoenix Wright mafia game before.
*God damn it I’m a idiot. I didn’t @tag Godot the right way.
I got you both beat, this is my first mafia game ever.
I’m very anti- Godots Revenge atm, I’ve always been for lynches, but I don’t think there is any drawback to first day no lynch…
Mid-game no lynch is ‘Please slit your wrists’ status…
Co-Jones shouldn’t be on the chopping block yet. Even if he had a wallflower strategy…Mafia gains nothing from not even being on the site for a majority of the game. A
That leaves BullDancer on the chopping block.
We have to decide this tonight guys. Let’s kick this into gear.
N’t take thus far:
Lynch Bulldancer.
If he turns up clean, lynch Saistu and Godots, because an innocent BS means we’ve been played by a thinly-veiled Good Cop Bad Cop routine.
But if BS is guilty, then I say Godots is clean, and all of his “agrees” with me were sincere, and not in-game mind fuckery.
That should read “my take” thus far.
Swype, yo.
Unfortunately, no.
@Synonym - About lynching the wall flower idea generally sucked (at least in the games I was in) since no one got any good information for lynching said person.
I’m more for pushing someone who’s been really defensive about being put on the spotlight, and judging from the recent posts that I read up on. I guess it’s likely to say GodotsRevenge feels like a good target to suspect.
If we don’t get a plan going like how Saitsu said, then we might have to lynch a random target, since going with a no lynch scenario, it will instantly give the mafia an advantage, since they will likely off someone on night 1.
How many mafia games have you played prior to this one?
I’ve played Phoenix Wright, South Park, and Resident Evil games.

It’s not that there is a huge drawback to No Lynch, it’s that lynching is better. We lose just as quickly if we guess a lynch wrong as if we did a No Lynch. There’s no risk because not participating in a lynch is just as bad.
If I were that good at manipulating people I wouldn’t be in the Proving Ground game to begin with.

I don’t like the logic you’re taking if BullDancer is innocent, but I’m fairly certain BD is Mafia. I’ll create an arguementl against lynching Saitsu and me if that’s the case.
When is the vote deadline?
@BullDancer, voting closes in approximately 13 1/2 hours or so. An accurate timer was provided by PW in this post.
Day 1 Begin!
Day 1 is an extended day phase, all votes are due by Monday 9/16 at 9:00 AM PST
Looking at that deadline, this day phase will end around 2am for me here in the future (Australia). As such, I’ll probably need to lock in my lynch vote in around 10 hours. Thus far I remain unconvinced about the validity of following a wallflower lynch strategy. They do afford the mafia a place to hide, however this strategy is rather over-used and quite public. To be honest, if I was mafia I’d try and stay middle of the pack. Posting high/low just draws unwanted attention to yourself.
As such, my vote remains tentatively on Manx for his early-game confusion/implications.
