Day 4 - Turnabout jasonC

Detention Center
Inexplicably, Phoenix had finally been led to Godot. For some reason, he felt compelled to look for the prosecutor. He couldn’t understand why, but yet, here he was, at the scene of a murder.
“Godot. Wake up.”
“…”
“GODOT!!”
“AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH”
By the looks of it, Phoenix had awoken him from a nightmare into another one. Godot took a couple of seconds to look at his surroundings to figure out where he was. After looking at the table, he muffled a scream and started to lose consciousness again.
“GODOT. STAY WITH ME.”
“Th…there was…a…”
“Yes, Godot. We know there was a murder here.”
“A…a…transvestite.”
With that, Godot blacked out again.
A sudden sense of deja vu crept over Phoenix. He had been here before, and yet, he hadn’t.
“I need to see this crime scene.”
Phoenix started looking around the room for clues, starting with the table.
“Two bullet wounds to the stomach area. Judging from the trajectory of the bullets, it appears the killer was standing in the doorway at the time. Looks like the victim bled out, but we’ll get the autopsy reports to you as soon as possible, Mr. Wright.”
“So all of the blood on the bed is the victim’s?”
“Initial forensics suggests so.”
"Any word on the reason Synonym’s blood is slightly whiter in some areas?’
“That’s not blood.”
‘Eeewwwwww. So that means…’
“Yep, and it’s likely that some of it belongs to the transvestite.”
‘EEEEEEWWWWWWW.’
Phoenix took a step back from the table and the mixture of bodily fluids. As his weight shifted, he heard a scraping sound beneath his shoe. He lifted his shoe to see a heart on his floor.
“What is this button doing here?”

Courtroom No. 5
“The court will now convene to discuss the murder of Larry Butz.”
“The prosecution is ready, your honor.”
“The defense is ready, your honor.”
“Jury, I believe we have a witness today?”
The detective stood up from the crowd.
“That’s correct, sir. The Jury calls jasonC to the stand.”
“Like what you see, sweetie?”
“N-NO! IT’S NOT THAT!” Edgeworth stammered. “Unless Phoenix wants to object.”
“NO-NO! I THINK IT’S FINE!”
Everyone stared at Phoenix.
“Hey, what you get off to in your private time is your own business,” Edgeworth replied.
That is so not what I meant.
Everyone continued to stare in confusion. Finally, The Judge broke the silence.
“Can we get on with this testimony, please?”
“For you, of course.” wink jasonC replied.
“Oh ho ho! Maybe I’ll have to cross-examine you myself after this trial!”
“NO!” Phoenix and Edgeworth cried out in unison.
“Please, just stick to the testimony.” Edgeworth demanded.
“Fine.”
Witness Testimony: My Fun Night
“Synonym wanted me to come visit him at the Detention Center last night."
“So I went there to talk to him for a few minutes, then I came back home.”
“I watched a movie and ate some ice cream. I believe I watched ‘South Park: The Return of Darth Chef.’”
“Then I got a call later saying Synonym was dead. I couldn’t believe that guy in the bathroom shot Synonym!”
“Mr. Wright, is there anything you want to cross-examine?”
“Plenty, your honor. Miss May, were you alone during your visit with Synonym?”
“Yes, we were very alone, and very discreet.” wink
That wink almost made Phoenix lose his breakfast.
“Then how is it,” Phoenix pressed. “That you know that Godot was in the bathroom?”
“W-w…well, I watched him walk in there on the other side of the window.”
“I found this on the side of the window where Synonym was found dead.”
“That…that button…NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
“April May, you were in the room with Synonym where he died. You were laying next to him, and had copulated with him. Thus the mix of blood and semen on the table. You are hiding something.”
“SHUT UP! FINE, MR. ATTORNEY! I had to get close to him, to bring his defenses down, so that my accomplice could put him to death. He knew my name! He was going to spill the beans on me next! I couldn’t let a cutie like me die!”
“Then,” the judge announced, “I have no choice but to find the witness guilty. Please send her to the Bottomless Pit.”

Since Jason flipped corrupt, yes actually.
If it aint broke dont fix it. But we deviate from the list as soon as we hit a civ.
If we lynch DG soviet might just DQ as well giving us a double mafia kill. Just putting it out there.
We havent heard from DarkGeneral in quite some time either.
Give SoVi3t a chance to self DQ
Per Syns list, which we have no reason to not follow:
DG is next, and Syn promises Sov is dirty if Jason flipped, which he did.
Then theres the Chief to look at.
Also, just throwing this out there, its always possible he was mafia and sacrificed, however unlikely. I’d make sure that the ucs take a look at the people in his “absolutely trust” list, to make sure he didnt slip one past us. It may be unlikely, but it would be super frustrating to lose to that
Man, if we lost due to that I couldn’t even be mad. Syn would be a Mafia god if he had the balls to get himself sacked and give up 3 other members just to slip the one person past that they needed to win.
However in a game with 2 active UCs such a strategy would be unviable. It’d be different if they got lynched already.
I just have trouble understanding why they would throw 3 members under the bus. What do they have to gain from that? Especially if they recruited.

I’m not saying it’s not possible, but come on man. 3 corrupt sacrifices just to force a mislynch? I dont get it.
Even if we assumed they didnt recruit, all those sacrifices would leave only 2 members now under the theory that Synonym was a corrupt sacrifice
I agree, its not likely, but it is possible. Just keep that in mind when it comes time to figure it out, IF it comes down to that
Alright, well let’s assume it’s a game with only one UC, or better yet, where the UC was taken out early.
The Mafia only needs 1 member alive to win. Any number of Mafia sacrifices is worth it if it meant that one Mafia member would skate by unnoticed or better yet, trusted.
It just doesn’t matter in this game because we have two UCs, both active, and the Vigi is still around just in case.
Yeah there’s that angle of it too. They havent dropped enough roles for that plan to be a surefire thing.
