SRK Mafia XVIII: Phoenix Wright - Back in Session -- Turnabout Icege (GAME OVER -- CIVILIANS WIN!)

I didn’t see anything that made me suspicious. I don’t agree with his day 1 plan but that alone isn’t lynch worthy. I also didn’t like the lack of justification that the majority of voters gave for their decision. Ironically, pink gave the best explanation.

The votes did give me some interesting insight.

Wow so that end rush was surprising. Im curious to the reasons some people jumped all over the place, however i feel as if we should wait until the next day phase before we really do so as to not give mafia any ammo for tonight. I think the reason alpha switched his vote is because he realized that the end was coming down to two civs and wanted to really pinpoint peoples voting patterns. Him being lynched also validates his last gasp more so than if he was killed, now we just have to wait for it.

Why is that ironic cinnamon toast crunch?

Because you were driving the fail bus express

God damnit, cause of niggas like you lot OJ Simpson was free to avoid jail and write a book that drove thousands to suicide.

Still dont understand the irony. If I was leading it shouldn’t I have a good reason?

Sorry, it’s ironic that the guy with a negative lynch Mafia percentage had the best reasons.

OK, srk that was around the right way when I typed it, wtf.

Mafia lynch

The fact he gave of approximately zero mafia vibes?

Thats Aidebit, Bious, IWinALot and Vynce 2 outta 2 for murking Jury.

Aidebit jumping in last second, Vynce leading pitchforks for god knows what reason. FD jumping in with that last second vote which was making no impact either way, hmmmm.

I was under the same impression as Aidebit; I thought it would tie. I much preferred IWinAlot dying over Alpha.

Played Smash basically all day ughhh so…worn out lol. Going to try to read up and be useful, I know my ass will be next if I even look like I’m fluff posting.

@crucades‌

I explained my last minute lynch vote switch earlier, if you wanna know why I did it.

Orochizoolander is guilty.

Getting in nice and early for tomorrow’s day phase.

posting from work…

12 hr shift and couldn’t manage to put a post in. I wasn’t feeling the alphacommando train. I thought anyone that takes the list strat into consideration had to be a civ. That being said I knew voting for anyone else was pointless since he had the majority vote on him.

I didn’t feel it either. Shit got ugly with him, and I feel like mafia just piled on the votes. What was the voting order, for people who voted to lynch AC?

I know you want to celebrate the list strategy, but unfortunately, that’s pretty much one of the most basic mafia tactics. Just throw out a list of names, then get people talking about them. Hell, look at Forge’s list early on, where she named like half the fucking game, on a whim.

I’m still probably voting for you again Forge, for what it’s worth, barring some sort of miracle happening today. From day one, you tried to jump into a leader role. Top 5 in posts this game, too…

You’ve been ultra defensive about it too. Just mad finger pointing and deflections, while screaming I’M NOT MAFIA as loud as you can, to anyone who will listen.

I got my eye on u

It came down to a gut feeling on my part since I didn’t get any mafia vibes from his posts. And like I said before when casting my vote I wasn’t sold on anyone of the wagons getting tracktion at the time, thus I used my vote to try and gauge a reaction out of GCL instead (still felt he was dirty when I initially voted for him). I got the defensive reaction I was expecting.

Day 2: Turnabout AlphaCommando

Saturday, October 3rd
1:00 AM
Hotel Room 903

Phoenix’s head really hurt. Between the ringing in his ears, the welt on the back of his head, and the ceaseless sobbing that he had went through that night, it was no wonder.

He couldn’t bring himself to sleep. He had to find clues as to who The Corrupt was.

He scoured the hotel room, the lobby, even outside. All he had found was the note next to the pulp that was left of Maya. He had questioned the front desk clerk, who claimed to have seen nothing, having fallen asleep. No, he was informed, there were no security tapes to watch, as there were no cameras in the halls of the hotel.

No murder weapon, no visual confirmation of entry, nothing.

He had no clue how to approach court tomorrow, but he already knew it wasn’t going to be pretty.

Saturday, October 3rd,
10:00
Courtroom No. 5

“We will now resume the trial of Larry Butz,” the judge announced. “Does the prosecution have any new information to share with the court?”

“We do, your honor,” Miles Edgeworth said. “We found Maya Fey, dead in the defense’s hotel room.”

“…!” the judge reeled back in his seat. “Do you think…”

“They left a note. This was most certainly The Corrupt’s doing, and not the defense.”

“I see,” said the judge.

“Further…”

“We found RadicalFuzz dead as well, with his testicles bludgeoned.”

“There must be quite a story behind this…”

“Yes,” Edgeworth said, “Perhaps one we’ll hear later. But for now, let’s stick to the matter at hand.”

“Yes. Please present your first witness.”

“The prosecution calls AlphaCommando to the stand.”

AlphaCommando, out of all the people in the jury, you were the hardest to track down last night.”

“That’s a subjective thought, but perhaps true.”

“Would you mind telling the court what you were doing on the night Maya Fey was murdered?”

Witness Testimony: What I Was Doing

“While everyone went their way, I went home.”
“The mood struck me and I started to write.”
“It was to be my masterpiece.”
“But then, I came and laid down.”

“You came, and laid down?” asked Edgeworth.

“It is exactly how I said.”

“Just what kind of story were you writing?”

“I was writing our story. A story about a time, a story about a place, a story about the people. But above all things, a story about love. A love that will live forever.”

“OUR story?” Phoenix pressed. “We can deduce that one person in the story was you. But who would be the other party in your story?”

“My seme, of course.”

“Witness, please point out the identity of your seme from the crowd of people.”

“I’m afraid I can’t do that.”

“And why is that?”

“He is no longer here.”

The murmuring of the court room was interrupted by the sound of a gavel.

“He’s…no longer here?”

“He’s…dead.”

“…! Then you must be talking about…”

“Yes, RadicalFuzz was my seme. But then he screwed it up with that witch.”

“So! You killed RadicalFuzz to get back at him!”

“NO! I WOULD NEVER…”

“But you have no alibis to prove this. You had motive. You must have killed someone,” said Edgeworth.

“That is very clear at this point.” the judge agreed. “I see no point for further discourse. Please send him to the pit.”

With that, AlphaCommando was thrown in the pit.

“Yet, he was not guilty of being Corrupt. Court is adjourned.”

AlphaCommando was lynched by the Jury.

AlphaCommando’s Last Gasp:

Best pre-N2 LGs I’ve ever seen.

It wasn’t until the end of the phase that I started to believe he was civ. The silent thread at deadline is one of the best ways to tell when were lynching wrong.

The sudden scramble of last second vote switching was fruitful regardless.
