I’ll say what I said in the sign-up thread.
Until proven otherwise we proceed assuming both abilities are in play.
Looking over at the possible mafia choices, it may be very likely that they select option B.
That way they may have an idea of the UCs investigations and plan accordingly and possibly misdirect our suspicions by using the sacrifice as the vigi.

I agree that misdirection is one if I, but a bigger advantage is that Mafia have two streams of data to role hunt with. Now, watch this come back to bite me if/when our power roles die but I’d pick it just for that.

And also, having Mafia die as the vigi is easily the best choice out of the power roles because it resets his stocks.
