SRK Mafia XVIII: Phoenix Wright - Back in Session -- Turnabout Icege (GAME OVER -- CIVILIANS WIN!)

@Bious DukeC’s departure. And he hasn’t been online since I directly accused him of being mafia. Or maybe he has been.

I said persons of interest, I never said mafia :slight_smile:

FD: Your posts give me the impression that you’re playing with something to hide. A role or mafia. It is also day one though and I would hate to pursue one of our roles thinking that you’re mafia.

gcl: You tend to do more harm than good to the civilian cause. Reminding myself of that would do me well.

IWinALot coming in and just making a comment about not wanting to read really, really doesn’t sit well with me.

Was DukeC so active in finding a replacement because he had a role or is he really that courteous?

BBCode isn’t allowed on mobile, Vynce.

@Icege I don’t really see how you think I’m hiding something. If there’s something you’d like to know, I’d be glad to answer it.

Your other 2 suspects I agree with, though.

I can’t understand how SRK can become worse with every patch LOL

@Augustus‌
@Aidebit
@Hecatom‌

You guys mind sharing who you’re voting for?

I don’t like wasting votes and if we can’t come to an agreement on the direction we need to go then we have a problem.

You got your brackets wrong. Both letters on one side should be flip flopped. You tried to end a bold code with an italic code and vice versa. Too late to change it though.

Just so you guys know, I am listening to this while re-reading the thread. I’m gonna catch somebody fucking up.

Wait, that’s it, @Icege‌? That’s the reason why I’m on your “list”? HILARIOUS!

I really don’t have a candidate so far, though i am paying attention to what some people are doing.
IF i had to choose someone right now, it will be between Vynce, The Co-Jones or JasonC, though they are not the only ones that i suspect about.

After further consideration, this post seems like nothing more than fluff.

First off, I sense some feigning innocence here, or some disguised guilt. “Hopefully I dont break any rules asking these questions”. How could you break rules by asking a question? Fluff. A question that cannot be answered conclusively. Even if I straight up ask somebody if they are mafia, that is within the confines of the rules. There are no questions that break rules

“So how does the first couple of days pan out normally? Is someone picked at random?”. I find this one especially odd. Turn your attention to when Dandyman was grilled for a lynch opinion.

He thinks it’s too early to have an opinion, but is questioning how the first few days pan out. If he doesnt know how early game cycles pan out, he wouldnt know that waiting long enough will reveal some evidence. So tell me Dandyman, when has it been long enough to kill somebody? Surely you read the rules. These games dont really move until people start dying. If we dont kill somebody, Mafia will win guaranteed.

“Is someone picked at random?” again, a question that cannot be answered conclusively. The answer is entirely subjective to past experiences. Either it’s random, or based around the smallest imaginable fuck up, that might not even be a fuck up in the first place. What happens Day 1 is never concrete and very subject to change.

“Do the special civilians get to tell everyone who they are or can they keep that a secret?”. This one pretty much answers itself. If special civs came out and said “Hey I have a role hurrdurr” it would make the mafia job way easier. They could just nightkill the roles and then wait for the roleless civs to die. This isnt even a question someone should need to answer for you.

Last but not least. Dandyman is friends with Icege. Whom you all have previously described to be as a “solid player” in past games. Next up, Icege claimed to have been raving to Dandyman about these mafia games. In conclusion, some of these questions likely wouldve been answered just from Icege’s stories of the games, or Dandyman couldve just asked him outside of the game instead. I mean do you guys think I wouldve asked the questions I did last game if I knew somebody IRL that could answer them for me without arousing suspicion?

Dandyman has contributed nothing to this game so far. At all. If you’re going to play the “I’m brand new” card, at least play it as well as I did. We cant get a lynch decision out of him. We cant get mechanic discussion out of him. We can barely get an opinion at all out of him. He is rubbing me the wrong way entirely. Being a friend of Icege as well, I wouldnt be surprised if he is trying to copy his play style of last game in the hopes that he gets as far. Surely he’s been told the story of how he didnt say shit the majority of the game and survived because of it.

Step it up Dandyman. You’re climbing to the top of my chart rather swiftly.

I’ll try to keep that in mind. I don’t think I want to be a wallflower in this game. it sounds kind of boring haha

I personally would vote ac for this incessant voting of rf day 1 every game. Its bs, it is safe for him to jus blame a civ lynch on tradition without blowback, and its frankly just fucking stupid.

Alphacommando is guilty

so who is Dandyman really?

I’m not sure. My worst case scenario is that it’s actually just Icege with two accounts. I thought it was weird that he specifically asked if his friend could join the game. Why ask? Anybody with an account is allowed to play if they hit the signup thread early enough.

From the sounds of it, using alt accounts isnt beyond the norm here in Mafia. DG was using one last game. Only reason im hesitant on my theory is because I feel like there is a rule somewhere against entering yourself into a game twice. No way that isnt illegal. I also dont know Icege well so Im not certain if that is a possibility he would entertain in pre-game.

Honestly, I was hoping someone else would see this before I chimed in. I think its AC’s way of breaking the ice. I can see the logic in giving certain players a free pass a couple phases too. The part I’m still figuring out is RF’s response to it. Annoyed? Expected? Concerned?

The alarming thing is RF doesn’t seem like he thinks he’ll be lynched. The whole charade feels like a smoke screen but I’d be lying if I told I know who its meant to cover.

@PW why AC over RF?

Here are the current lynch tallies, 11 hours, 15 minutes until deadline:

RadicalFuzz (3): AlphaCommando, Augustus, DarkGeneral
The Co-Jones (3): Bious, IWinALot, Synonym
Synonym (1): great cow lord
DarkGeneral (1): Vynce
AlphaCommando (1): Pimp Willy
Hecatom (1): ForgeDigger
No Lynch (1): RadicalFuzz
Not Yet Voted (14) Aidebit, Blindknagg, The Chief, The Co-Jones, crucades, Dandyman90, Hecatom, Icege, jasonC, orochizoolander, RECESSIONTIME, Saitsu, SoVi3t, XthAtGAm3RGuYX

If I have made any mistakes in this tally, please correct me. (provide quotes if you can…if that’s working on mobile now or link me to the post with your vote)

The RF hate is real.

What i don’t get is all those people who “owe” to AC a lynch vote for RF.
Why??

For me and DG it was that Arena game, though thanks to your game I got out of it.

For writeups and other favors mostly
