I’m not in this group and I voted for who I said I was going to since day 1 yet you want me lynched now instead of these guys hmmm.
So when I ask for clarification on certain aspects of the game/loopholes and give my thoughts on what other players have said that caught my eye PW ignorantly (or if he’s mafia intelligently) labels my mega post as fluff without bothering to specify why it is fluff, but when SAD blatantly makes 2 posts fluffier than a bunny made of cotton candy PW is nowhere to be found calling it out and instead actually clicked agree with the latter.
And then SAD agrees with this post without any prior explanation, I highly doubt they are lovers, but something is definitely going on between them.
I will agree that me saying on day 1 that TGG feels off and then him being the first night victim is a little suspicious, but any competent mafia team would not give away one of their own so quickly and for no gain especially, if I were mafia how would sacrificing me benefit any of them? I hope everyone notices that even after TGG said I was suspicious in his LG, no one said anything about me, I was not on anybody’s radar until my mega post at the bottom of page 11 where PW jumped on it twisting my words and trying to discredit me the same exact way he did when he was mafia and I was on to him, except this time I had no read on him prior to him attacking me. And the followup is AC’s mega post accusing me of being mafia in the middle of page 12 which at first glance seems logical, but really is just a huge reach at best because he said mafia are more likely to get rid of stronger, louder players than to frame me…okay so wh ythe fuck would I make that big ass post only to have another player attempt to break it down and make me look guilty? Do you think any competent mafia team would let me? If I was mafia regardless of my “personal profile” which is false by the way, why would I paint such a huge target on my back? Regardless of whatever mind games you suspect the bottomline is it doesn’t take much for players to get lynched early on and mega posts like yours and mine regardless of the content stick out and like TGG said those who stick out get hammered down first.
If I was mafia I’d be playing really terribly and the rest of my team would be doing damage control considering there’s only 3 of us. Wait that reminds me @Hecat0m if mafia successfully recruit a new titan will it be in the writeup?
After PW and AC start going in on me next is DukeC who fucking comes out of nowhere suspecting me with no reasoning or explanation. After him it’s BK…interesting that alone right there might seal my vote for him tonight. And after him TCJ appears out of fucking nowhere voting me too with no explanation either.
The real civs are going to have to read my oddly worded posts carefully before deadline and I’m hoping you guys are going to be smart and not force my hand this early on.
Please urge you and everyone else who’s voting me to reconsider and voting CK or preferrably BK, PW and SAD are my other 2 suspects, but those I know I won’t get any votes for today.
Read my fucking posts guys, this happens every fucking game, players just hop on band wagons with no rhyme or reason and then when I die and turn out to be civ they say “oops my bad” it’s frustrating, I know it’s a part of the game and not that many SRK’ers are good at making reads, but still it’s just disheartening to always be in this tough position…but this time something is different, and maybe I won’t be so quiet anymore depending on how today goes.
Does anyone have a current vote tally?
Frankly I’m inclined to vote anyone but me lol, but I’m leaning towards BK for hopping on the OZ wagon and because even if he is civ I think seeing the difference in reasoning between those who voted for him and those who voted CK will at least put us on the right track to finding a mafia among both groups.
PW and SAD seem to have my attention, but it’s just too early for me to really accuse them and I think my frustration at PW is slightly coloring my judgement at the moment lol.
I wasn’t even that subtle in my posts on day 1, yet only 1 other player got my message and no I won’t reveal him, but I hope he posts soon he’s been gone awhile.
I read this and then reread the thread multiple times looking for what the hell DG saw. I only found one of the three that he indicated. Several implications come out of that, but the most important one, as it pertains to right now, is that OZ is looking pretty clean. I would say the chance of him being dirty is smaller than Missing Person’s epeen after the kaz lynch.
DG (and myself) were probably not the only ones who were able to read it…so I am not sure if it casts a suspicious light on AC or not so I’ll leave it at that.
Anyhow, I was about to go hard on Cynt tonight, but then
who the fuck has an exam on a sunday??? then does a bandwagon lynch.
*Got a little time so I’m going to try and put as much as I can into this post.
Night 1 kill - I think the kill on TGG was either a straight up rolehunt, in which case it would suggest a vet or team of vets who had him strongly pegged as having a role. Or a group of newbies who keyed in on him of all people for one reason or another. Looking at my notes for TGG he showed normal new play energy. He asked a lot about possible expedition outcomes, talked about roles and was suspicious of everything and everyone, more or less. A new player talking about roles and game mechanics isn’t uncommon and isn’t something I think would set off most mafia groups alarms, not enough to kill him N1 at least.
The other reason is that the mafia didn’t want to give us much to go off of their first night kill. Killing a new player, who was by all accounts doing his best to contribute to the civ cause. If that’s the case then mafia want to stay off the radar for as long as possible.
Skimming the through all the new posts, I’m surprised no one brought up the fact that mafia decided to kill at night and not go for a double investigation. I think @Synonym was the only person to even bring up the question of what would most people do on night 1, yet no one answered. Day 1’s result was a no lynch, so it’s understandable that the mafia would go with the double kill in most cases. Unless the titans thought they were sure they would survive fairly long and thus be able to take their chances investigating to improve their numbers.
@"Pimp Willy"
I think I know what you’re doing. Depending on what the mafia does next I’ll either trust you more, or think you’re pretty damn dirty.
@Chief
Have you ever read Part 5 by any chance?
Oz was one of my top suspects day 1. “I didn’t put the screw in the tuna” read as code to me but I didn’t have the time to really try to decipher what it means. Other than that Oz seemed to talk about dormants in a passive manner, not trying to really bring much spotlight to what he said. Saying just enough so that the titans would pick up on it and recruit him. Oz is bolder than what he has played like so far and I’m definitely in the camp of thinking that Oz is crazy like a fox.
Someone else sounded like OZ day 1. If Oz flips titan/dormant then that player will be who I push for day 3.
I haven’t locked in for BK yet, and I don’t see any convincing evidence of augustus being mafia, and him saying he’ll vote for whoever votes for him next does scare me, but I’d rather take that risk than be killed myself so I may switch to Aug if need be.
Syn stuck his neck out with the day 1 plan, yes there have been previous games where mafia wanted to led civs early and get a vice grip on the game, but considering what happened to RFwith his day 1 plan, I doubt mafia would risk one of their own so early…or maybe it’s a level 2 yomi play? I wouldn’t put it past a smart player like syn.
What say you @RadicalFuzz ? and I hope I’ve convinced you to not vote for me please just don’t at least not today.
@dg Mafia killing night one suggests a vet who hasn’t been Mafia in a while. I would say that their second action would have been an investigation. Unless they thought they had a lock for a dormant it would be 100x better to get an investigation than to waste a recruit.
As for forge (?) Who was asking why the human lover shouldn’t claim, I personally don’t see a problem with it but others have said it will tie up our resources too much.
I still think dormants claiming them getting lynched is in our best interests but I’m doubtful any will come forward.
Heavy allusion to role claim. Previous discussion about how Mafia can freely role-claim in hopes of forcing the real role to claim.
No appeal made to any other players, only RadicalFuzz. Potential attempt to take advantage of RadicalFuzz’s naivete (SRK Mafia XII).
If orochizoolander = Mafia: Mafia pool reduced by 1/3, potentially 1/4. Leads to other Mafia. Confirms which Titan role OZ received, cross check with previous theory in order to help determine psychological profile of remaining members.
If orochizoolander = Role: Heavy target for Mafia next night phase if not lynched. Ineffectiveness with roles proven in the past (SRK Mafia X). Likely backlash in LG, inconsequential.
If orochizoolander = Roleless (Unlikely): Deliberate confusion intentionally spread throughout thread. Liability.
orochizoolander defence: Theoretically makes sense. Desire for Mafia to stay out of spotlight for first half of game understandable, volunteering for spotlight unlikely. If defence is true, theory of TGG’s death based on post count probability increases. No major objections to defence, would be willing to put vote on more suspicious player.
orochizoolander defence plausible, potentially made too late. Players seem content in locking thread down to one of two players for voting in order to avoid a tie. In the event that no alternative to two players (orochizoolander/Augustus) is given, vote for orochizoolander will be locked in, as orochizoolander suspicion > Augustus suspicion.
