How does recruiting work? Does the planeswalker get to choose who they recruit or are they recruited at random from within their shard?
It sounds like the planeswalker will not know who is in their shard, so it would have to be at random, amirite?
Oh dear god we’re officially “vets” now.
Basically mafia will try to push civs for a day lynch and civs will try to push who they think is mafia for a day lynch. That’s the core of most of the interactions in the game and how most people make their reads. However, when players don’t talk very much it makes it significantly more difficult to get those reads. This actually happens more on the civ side than mafia, which is really frustrating as it directly inhibits forward progress for civs. Basically, talk a lot.
And you’re correct, it’ll be a random player from their shard since planeswalkers don’t know who precisely is in their shard.

Homophones: different words that sound the same. (Read [past tense]; red)

Yeah all the recruitment abilities say a “Random x member will be recruited to your PM”.
Homonym is more specific than homophones is what I concluded after my extensive 15 minute research into the subject. Some sources had homonym as strictly being spelled the same and made a clear distinction while others were more lenient.
