And I really think Alpha putting the kill in on Jones was him not believing his roleclaim, possibly role hunting for vigi/UC/medic. Think about it, if you had one of these roles, and saw people pressuring you in a rush, what kind of role claim would you try to make to secure your survival on both ends of the spectrum?
That’s about the only thing that makes sense. He could have opted to kill someone mid-upper tier. (No offense, CoJones. You’re just largely absent, historically.)
Can you two just… hop off? I am not Mafia, I “Waht” because we nailed TWO Mafia players in one night. WAH has pretty much sucked me dry and he concludes I’m Mafia… and then Forge is just slowly and painfully killing me like she’s savoring it… I’m telling you that I’m a civ and there’s nothing you can do to change that. What can I do to convince you two otherwise?
*This is a straight up 50/50. Either you think I’m a civ weighing the options of each lynch and trying to fish for reactions from certain players or I’m mafia pretending to look contemplative. *
This is my key post in my argument. Why?
I’ve already answered this, I balked on my own gut read day 1 because it looked like AC was fucking around day 1 and was trying to actually get his head in the game day 2. After his strong civ performance last game I gave him more leeway than I usually would have.
*You underestimate me if you think I was mafia and would have let AC put in the kill on Coco for the night. I would have made damn sure that we had DukeC murk him. If you think I was trying to protect the godfather why on gods green earth would I let him put the kill in on Coco? Specially when I previously stated in the thread that I think he’s civ and not bluffing. *
What part of my post read like salt to you? But perhaps I should lay off. As you point out, you have me the most precious gift of all: attention! A writeup! It does warm the heart. (Like, really, though.)
But let’s ask a question: do you think I’m mafia, now? Or will you only think so if DG ends up mafia?
He bluffed you guys. He made it look like even if it he did die by mafia, he had to choose a target, like OZ had to as Fanatiq in the FGC game.
So Alpha killed him with this in mind: If he’s bluffing, he’s got a power role that would be excellent to get out. If he wasn’t bluffing, mafia thought, well, he’s still gotta pick a person to take with him, and that person could be a civ, even a power role.
What mafia (re: you) DIDN’T realize was TCJ was going to take whoever killed him with him. So don’t try to pretend like you knew that would be the case already to make you look like a spotless lamb.
