Thanks for posting those two too DG since I missed them.
Maybe they think that by not posting (good god I have a serious procrastination problem) they’ll simply be overlooked? Is this what is commonly know as “wallflowering”?
Yes, “wallflower” generally refers to players who rarely post. They’re present in both allegiances most of the time.
Wallflowering is posting barely enough to remind everyone that you are active on the game while not necessarily being really insightful or participative
I was a wallflower in the last game (was civ) so it might come down to first time jitters too. Not posting once during the first day is strange though.
Ah, nice to see you Fuzz.
Got any suspects?
A loincloth? I’m insulted, Fluff. Why would I make it harder on myself to dip my testicles in your pudding?
Recc and Hec have played in previous games though, dunno bout 3SL.
At the moment I’d prefer to keep my suspicions to myself. If anything big comes up then I’ll share it with everyone, but until then I’m not sharing.
I forgot, there’s no such thing as public indecency in Australia seeing as it’s already Australia. My bad.
It’s an interesting idea, but we have a lot of smart players here who could easily subvert the plan to their advantage like how bious suggested, also there is the chance you could be mafia wanting this plan to get traction because most mafia are at the bottom of the list. I’m all for plans like these, but not when they decide the entire game from day 1, I like to think that last gasps help civs more than hurt them in the long run, so to disregard the words of confirmed civs seems counter productive. Also we are in the fucking dark as far as roles go, any plan that disregards crucial game changers like that is shooting ourselves in the foot.
Yo @kaz this reminds me of the early mafia games, I can’t believe it’s been almost 10 years since the first one, there was a period in the middle where I was getting a little lazy, which is reflected in my lack of points lol, but the old OZ has been back for the past few games and been on a roll. I’ll come up with yet another crazy, risky, but smart move this time that you can be sure of.
And please guys, just no fluff posts? I love this game to death, but let’s try to keep it under 100 new pages a day? Thanks I’d really appreciate it.
Okay down to brass tax, off the bat I’d like to say I’m leaning towards voting aidebit if only because in just about every game he’s been in role or not he’s very passive and quiet like a slightly more active CK, so him making some bold posts day 1 just stand out as different to me, either he has a role that’s motivating him to speak up early or he’s mafia.
I am here. Didn’t know we had started this. Lemme sober up a little first.
Wait why did I type Hec? Was supposed to be sovi3t
Oz, you and I noticed the same thing.
Brass tacks*
This game is going to be really fun if I actually get to play. In my opinion we shouldn’t spin our wheels worrying about the unknowns (roles, mafia numbers, ect). I think the best action right now is to come to a consensus on who to lynch today.
*Getting the lynch target squared away does take precedence. However we’re going to have to attempt to start figuring out how this game is designed sooner or later. I suspect the writeup will give us more insight about the game, but the “no talking at night” clause is still perplexing me. For better or worse civs will have to sit on any information we gleam until the next day phase. People with night actions notwithstanding. *
Question(s) here. If a mafia happens to be lynched Day 1, wouldn’t that increase the chances of them surviving into the end game? Or would that be considered a win for the Civs because they might hit someone important? Trying to look at this from a percentage/odds viewpoint.
Right now I’m lynching Alpha (or Aidebit.)
Suspects include SAD and Fuzz.
Also die Vynce die.

I… don’t follow.
Wait, don’t answer that. I understand now.
