Oh trust me. If I had a LG, there’d be one person’s name popping up a hell of a lot, next to words including (but not limited to) ‘anal-tearing’, ‘fetish’, ‘spiked’, ‘AIDS’, ‘Fluttershy’, ‘guzzling’, ‘sandwich’, ‘sobbing’ and ‘haemorrhoids’.
I just wanted to give the UC some advice I gave out last game that kind of went ignored, investigating big names is a lot of times a waste and counter productive. Look at last game, Aidebit did awesome and hit 2 big names and 2 mafia in the first two nights. And what happened? They were killed before he event got to come out with his results. Your job is to have as many confirmed civs as you can going into end game, finding a mafia is just a bonus. Earlier it was asked what is more important, lynching talkative people or wallflowers? Most people seem to think lynching wallflowers is worse.
If people are lynching big names, focus more on wallflowers. If it seems like wallflowers are getting lynched, focus on big names. Be fluid according to the vigi kills as well. But remember, the more names we have confirmed at end game, the easier it can be. Look at last game as a good example of that, we had a list of confirmed, and we split the rest of the list up and mathematically we couldn’t lose. That’s the best way to contribute, base hits not homeruns.
If AC wasn’t mafia and was feigning, we’d know by the next Day Phase who Lando was to be able to take him out either now or at a later date.
If AC WAS Mafia he’d be notably silent or would have to point the finger to someone else.
Now with the mixup, AC can still do the latter, but we get no guarantee for the former.
Think about it this way. <PW> isn’t exactly a special Mafia member. He’s just essentially a potential extra member with no special powers. He won’t be any more or less on our radar if he gets turned or not. So what do we have to fear if he is turned? If AC is Mafia, either outcome is nigh irrelevant to us. What only matters is if AC is Civilian.
I should have clarified, when I said he and I have the right idea I meant when he said that witness should have stayed quiet and only revealed himself on day3 or if he was on the chopping block whichever came first.
Exactly what I’ve been saying since page 5 and no one listened
All will be revealed by the light…dammit now I just reminded myself Young Justice is cancelled
Pimp Willy, the ONLY way you can win if you join us. I promise you that if you don’t contact me tonight, we will NOT be offering you another chance. We’re not sacrificing another player for you.
On an unrelated note, what do you guys think about enforcing? If someone happened to get enforced, would it be worth anything for that person to come out with it? It may give us an idea about what the mafia does, and mafia won’t CC, because that would create a 1-1 trade.
Well this game took an interesting turn. Will be interesting to see what <PW> and vigi will do during this phase.
Anyway, if theoretically speaking Alpha isn’t mafia and <PW> reveals himself to him that would give us one confirmed civ at least right? If Alpha is <kaz> though and successfully converts <PW> we’ll be back at square one in the worst case scenario. Unless Alpha is a civ and <PW> somehow contacts a real mafia tonight.
*I have a lot to say but I’m gonna sit pat during this night phase. I’ll throw out a couple of things though:
@Chiefy you’re not looking too good in my eyes. At first you going for me didn’t catch my attention, but now? Yeah you’re high on my list. Specially with you deflecting attention away from 1-2 certain somethings.
@Aidebit bad plan. Very bad plan. I can’t say for certain how Enforces work in this game but IIRC usually only someone with a role will they be informed that they were enforced. Roleless civs don’t get informed which means we wouldn’t be able to use roleless civ to draw attention to themselves so that mafia might take them out that night instead of one of our real roles. Furthermore this opens up the floodgates for mafia to enforce themselves and try to gain trust with the civ population. I’am firmly, firmly against this… Except maybe 1 caveat.
Invisible looking like an angry thumbs up to RIP soldier Fuzz
woah what the shit, (bracket) works in a filename hyperlink?
Well there goes Beta, on the idea that lots of people are going to die to get the name of {Kaz}, only.
& you would think he wouldn’t get that antsy at people saying no to the plan, then at least talk out what I said or hit it with an insightful/agree.  Over there worried about his avatar while being a scared bender.
@orochizoolander, you down to pressure Cynt later and have an alignment to vote for him?
woah what the shit, (bracket) works in a filename hyperlink?
except when…
@orochizoolander, you down to pressure Cynt later and have an alignment to vote for him?
He should answer to you at least why he voted for you with only 1 post in the thread. But we can both question him to further than inquiry if he ‘rollie pollie’ rolls up. Too early to think of a better metaphor on he won’t answer that. Damn saved draft.
I was hoping we would get more GM answers before that voting phase. And soon enough now that that vote is done with.
To clarify the Beta night 3 isn’t as important anymore, but perhaps who can/who can’t be Role blocked, which now might even include Pimp Willy? He starts as a Civ, even if he can’t win with his original team. A point-earning-less Taskmaster + Kenny? Kinda role.
One of the disadvantages civilians have is the inability to work secretly. I like AC’s plan but as you can see, a large portion of the thread was not aware of it. Obviously there’s a good reason, but the problem comes in if AC is mafia.
Pimp Willy would be mafia already and civs would assume nothing happened because it would be purely up to AC to decide whether to reveal the name or not.
In short, after tonights actions, when AC dies, if he’s civ, he owes us a name. If he’s mafia, lando is mafia. Period. No need to discuss that role any further. Find him and lynch him.
Mafia is either trying to trade a life for a life or AC is trying to be a hero.
I think its important to keep EVERY CIVILIAN in the loop. Mafia wants confusion and secrets. We don’t.
The only thing that stopped your lynch yesterday was RF. You seem pretty much at peace with that. I guess, as mafia you would since there’s a chance you knew you could get RF lynched.
Vynce doesn’t have a read on you yet. Probably because you haven’t done anything to read. Propose a BS plan that likely was a setup since mafia already knew who RF was… and you try to spin the blame on us saying we should’ve followed the plan?
Nigga please. Your next best move is to kill me because you’re done.
