This is actually pretty likely, if Fuzz turns out to be Carpenter. Fuzz is not only a good player, but it wouldn’t look too suspicious if people started to bandwagon Fuzz Day 1. That’s because everybody votes Fuzz Day 1.
Not a whole lot of info to go off so far except RF role claiming. I’m take his word for now so he can deliver a demon later. His life at this point has more value than a regular towny. Locked vote in for bloodymess this round.
RadicalFuzz has been ringing more bells for me this game than he normally does. Whether it’s because he is <SWBeta> or because he’s mafia I don’t know.
I didn’t have any time to push some of my own suspects so I felt he was the most likely to yield information. I’ve gotten some, but nowhere near as much as I would have liked.
Seriously, where is everyone?
Regardless, I’m not sure he’s getting lynched today unless we’ve had a lot of silent bandwagon votes for him.
@RadicalFuzz, if you are <SWBeta>, why openly claim this close to the deadline? Now, you’ve essentially forced the medic into adopting the ‘witness protection plan’ (what an amazing plan name btw) if you are saved or have left it too late to save yourself (if there has been a lot of silent bandwagon votes for you).
Fuzz, if you are actually Beta, that was a really dumb move. Since a few people don’t trust you as it is, I don’t see how this could help you, except for surviving for a while longer. So lets see, if you really are Beta, the mafia will have no choice but to kill you, but if they don’t, that must mean you are actually mafia… In case he actually is Beta, maybe we should have the medic start protecting him until night 3 so we learn who <kaz>(the role) is. After night 3, I guess we could decide what to do with him.
sigh I hate when people decide to RC soooo late right before a deadline. I want to go back over the thread and see the proximity of the RC to what else has been going on, but I don’t have time. I’m about to go out and eat.
I just want someone to get lynched, not a tie or a save by Medic just because Fuzz just now decided to speak up (and is telling the truth), 'cause that would leave us back at square one, with someone dead tonight and still no target for Vig to hit.
That said, I’ma vote lynch DarkGeneral.
OZ, I need to go re-read your posts, but I’m very surprised to see you posting so much early on. Very out of character for you. I can’t support a vote on Pimp Willy right now what with all this fuzzy RC’ing SWBeta. Tomorrow will be very telling.
Moving on, I saw that you’re sticking to your ‘mafia stratification’ strategy. Ie. Clustering individuals based on post count and dividing mafia numbers between those categories.
I’ve been struggling with this issue myself. On the one hand, annoyingly, wallflowers tend to make it to end-game. This does allow mafia to hide among their ranks and is a valid reason for targeting them.
On the other hand, lynching someone who has made 3 posts doesn’t give us a lot of information to go off.
What do you think? Which outcome benefits the civilian cause more?
Looking at the order of actions I don’t think this is true:
So wording of the role according to this logic should be if you survive night three you get the witnessed demons name.
Dead line in 2 hours? Gonna mill over last page. Going to go with someone not Fuzz, if he isn’t <SWB> then we kill him when <SWB> dies. This isn’t a RC like claiming Vigi, this is something that will tie up medic. I’m not trusting Vynce and Chief just “because” .
So RF was spooked in to claiming a role that was destined to die by day 4.
If he lives and medic jumps on board and protects him, how do we know if we can trust the name he gets? He’ll have to be lynched/killed period.
Fuzz openly agreed with DG’s plan so he’s probably been wanting to RC this whole time hoping the medic is on board.
So I ask, @RadicalFuzz were you expecting to be lynched day 4 to confirm you were telling the truth on the name you get? If you survive today, do you think mafia kill you?
Naturally if SWBeta lived well past day 4, his job is done and he can die whenever. RF is a player that is typically valuable late game so regardless of his role, we’d want him around. Given his role claim, day 4 is the furthest he’d be allowed to make it civ or not.
Well I guess the medic-Beta plan will pretty much be a thing now. Unless Fluff gets CC’d. In which case it’ll look bad for him.
I’d also like to know the current votelist since if I’m close to the chopping block I’d like to actually defend myself.
This shit looks like backtracking to me. If you had meant to refer to Chief the Player, you would have specified as such instead of making such a vague statement. And up until now you hadn’t given me much attention. Ironic that you’d bring up implications when you only began to start a wagon on me is when I pointed this out.
Also hat’s not misinterpretation. This is me calling you out on rolefishing.
Actually, I tried that but never really was able to buy into it fully. that was Noodleheads system, and I tried it out a couple of times. I don’t feel like it works too much here on SRK. Here, people have their posting tendencies regardless of role, and pretty much stick to them.
When I referred to posting tiers, it was more of an informal thing. There are 3 major posters (Me, RF, AC) with over 25 posts each. The next tier was about 12-17 posts. I wasn’t tiering everyone to mafia hunt anymore.
As for the question, I think you need a balance. If you let wallflowers live, they’ll get to end game and then you’re just taking a huge random chance if you win. If you lynch only vocal people, all the leaders die and then you aren’t really left with a cohesive unit to move forward. I tend to like to let the bigger names live a few days, because A) it lets me play a little longer when I do get to play B) It gives me more time to get reads on them and C)When I am mafia, I like not dying day one : P
I think lynching the less vocal is a good way to cause the others to contribute more, and that allows us to make better reads. You can’t catch a mafia if they don’t post (without the UC, that is)
Role claim when he’s only sitting on 4 confirmed votes on him that might not even be enough to lynch him, or they aren’t planning to vote his way anyway, with votes cannot be changed.
Therefore. Does that look like Mafia behavior to you?
Godots went all CAPS attack, said the same thing!
I hate Fuzz now because of how many people are quoting that shit, blank space scrolling and all. & hate that my vote is sent in and can’t be changed to Fuzz.
