My votes go to the player on my list that is most likely to get lynched. I don’t like tossing my solo vote to a random player on my list that nobody is suspecting.
That said I will share that RadicalFuzz and Vynce are two people I will not be voting for this phase.
Also, day 3 is probably going to be a day unlike any other in regards to mafia gameplay.
So, not even an hour passed between you asking a question and then giving up on me. Fittingly enough, I prepared and later consumed part of a pie. I can provide photographic evidence if you want.
You seem anxious. You feeling the pressure, mate? Don’t get antsy. It’s what this game is about.
In the office, I don’t really have that luxury, because I never know when someone’s going to come to my desk and distract me, so I try to get posts done before that happens.
So long as this plan doesn’t interfere with other healthy dialogue, I suppose I can’t really argue against it. I find it odd that you’re putting all your eggs in one basket like that.
People need to stop discussing the possibility of a Vampire sacrificing themselves. The probability of it happening and the amount of effort/research being put in to determine this probability is off balance.
Correct.
3 & 4. You’ll have to wait for Fluff to reveal the answers.
@azure are you keeping up with the thread? 3rdstrike and I seem to disagree on pie yet you say I’m defending him? Also you’re probably my top suspect for now. I don’t see anyone else building a case against anyone else that has 3 admittedly circumstantial reasons as I do to vote for you. If however you or anyone else has a solid reason to vote for anyone else, then please try to sway my vote I welcome it.
Why do you trust pie?
Why does no one care that the chief just admitted to band wagon the whole game?
Why do you suspect me @vynce? mafia on either or both sides are definitely playing those of you who are civilians and suspect me. This is the 4th time I ask someone for a logical reason why they suspect me and I get “ummm uhhh cuz I feel like it” as a response and no one bats an eye?
What do you think of this? Of course, More players than just Mafia get Pm’s this time. Anything Synonym has been saying that lines up with your last Mafia game, sticking around until the end, being checked over before you post anything in the game thread?
Okay, we really need to come together on this. @Azure is the only person I trust as of this moment (I don’t agree with him fully on trusting Pietastic though), and depending on what happens at the end of this phase he will either have my full trust or be suspect. He said Zoolander, and that is where my vote is going unless anything changes that.
I don’t think I was a wallflower that game, but my activity this game is certainly a lot less than I normally contribute.
I said in the sign-up thread that I’m trying something different this game. I meant it. Now that I’m not being relied upon to drag the discussion forward ala the TF2 or RE games I can stand back and be a lot more analytical.
A few things I’ve noticed that I’d like to point out:
-With all of the conspiracy theories about Soviets death, none of you considered the abilities of our resident witch? I’ll let that percolate.
-BD has been mad in the past few games because he was civilian and got killed Day 1, despite contributing heavily. This game he’s quiet and dropping off the radar. Although to be fair, so am I.
-Soviet wasn’t in a position where he was under a lot of scrutiny. There was little to be gained from the mindgames his death would cause if he was sacrificed. "Did our vigi hit him or was he sacrificed? Who knows?"
Here’s the deal. If he was sacrificed while the other initiate was promoted there were only four things Dracula could have done to that other initiate.
~Promote ability: The other inititate is now in charge of promotions… of nobody.
~Assassinate: The other remaining initiate is now able to kill others. But the vampire ranks are now permanently capped at two. For the whole game. Whoops.
~Bite: Most likely course of action. The second initiate is now able to swell the vampires ranks, providing them with more bodies that they can promote into other roles.
~Celerity: This one would be a good investment long term, but not if they were sacrificing their other member night one. Unlikely if Soviet’s death was intentional.
See why it’s highly unlikely that his death was a sacrifice play?
What do they gain?
-Potentially steering civilians towards a list of players as lynch targets. Soviet didn’t really implicate anyone new or exciting so that’s not a huge gain.
-Convince the civilians that they have an awesome vigilante… which gives the civilians hope and a drive to keep pressing people for information? That seems counter to the vampire strategy.
No, I would say that the vampires were doing what the werewolves were probably also doing: Promoting a member to ‘bite’ so that they can increase their numbers. We just need to hope that they promoted Soviet and not the other member.
I just realized lovers could be suspecting me rather than it being a mafia tricking a civilian hmmm…going to have to rethink some things and @synonym I’ll address your points after I cook dinner tonight, and yes you were a wallflower for a lot of that game, you were only active towards the end when you tried your hardest to get people to not listen to me expose you as mafia lol.
MP I don’t have any concrete facts. But this is why I suspect you:
Soviet listed you, MP, and myself as his 3 suspects. I know I’m a civ. I don’t feel MP and Sov were allied in this game. By default, then, I suspect you the most. Of the 3 names he provided.
Now, I’ll concede that he could have named 3 civs, since it would deviate from the convention we’re all so familiar with. And you should know, you’re a distant third behind GDR and SumAznDude.
