I’d like to go out on a limb and say that Van Hellsing played in the same game as Sovi3t where Sovi3t went off. Pimp Willy was the mafia leader at the time, iirc. I could see one of those guys targeting Sovi3t (obviously not Pimp Willy). Whomever Sovi3t voted for I doubt would be the same person that the other two vampires voted for.

Perhaps Sovi3t tried to embrace Van Hellsing and got found out? Idk if that’s possible in this game. It’s the end of the semester and I’ve been having to do a lot of different social functions (holidays, birthdays, and all that this time of year).

I suppose I’ll start going through Sovi3t’s posts and see what I can theorize. I’m off tonight, but I came home to dinner being made in only an apron and a thong sooo… >.>

If we’re bringing up the forbidden game, the mafia there that are in this game would be Bulldancer, The MotherFucker Co-Jones, and Myself. Obviously Jones isn’t it, I’m not, and I doubt Bull makes reads like that.

Missing Person I didn’t think of that, hmmm a civilian getting bitten should seemingly have no reason to keep quiet about it as you said the counter claim by werewolves or vampires would be dangerous to them. As it stands I’m not seeing what @pietastic was talking about saying “think a few steps ahead” just seems like a vampire/werewolves way of getting us civilians to not cry monster when bitten but maybe I actually am missing something here.

@radicalfuzz indeed in can be that you truly don’t want to get screwed over by @vynce like before however, considering how big of a del it was in that game it’s just as likely you could use that to secretly team up with him without any of us civilians batting an eye when you two happen to always agree with each other.

Also you are the one who doesn’t understand because I clearly said I knew there were 3 lovers couples I only communicated the idea of somehow trying to get all lovers to find out about each other and form an orgy or something.

Hiding in plain sight, even being brazen about it is a hallmark of mafia strategy.

About the whole initiate/convert thing, if somehow found out to be bitten or claiming to be bitten, a potential werewolf/vampire would logically claim to be a role-less cured civilian so that they can’t “prove” their innocence by displaying their power. But, eventually that would mean a lot of people role claiming role-less civilians and that could get very messy fast, but work out for us civilians if we keep an eye out for who starts it and when.

It’s are enough keeping all the roles straight in my head, but to think of all the variables and permutations of their interactions is currently driving me insane, like is the mayor more helpful or harmful to us civilians?

Role claiming as role-less civilain is detrimental to civilians this game because essentially lovers are immune to being converted so why help mafia weed out who is ripe for conversion and who’s not? This automatically makes me suspicious of pietastic as he’s done exactly that, although it could be a rookie mistake too.

Also remember guys PW chose roles at random this time, so that makes it even more likely that we’ll nail a mafia on either side on our wallflower hunting!

If a civilian is bitten they “become an initiate of that faction” which implies that they win if that faction wins and no longer are tied to civilian victory.

Somebody asked that earlier, sorry I wasn’t around during the last few hours of the phase, but as soon as you are bitten, you are considered part of that faction, and victory is tied to that faction winning. So if you are bitten, but not promoted, you’re still a vampire/werewolf for purposes of winning until you’re cured.

ok so my assumption about this is correct, we wont really be getting anyone coming out and announcing “omg guys i was bitten” unless the person is just pissed, and honestly imo if you work directly against your win conditions that to me would be grounds for a few game ban… don’t need another perkins incident “like omg, hay gaiz i’m not on your team! just thought i would introduce myself”

The coroner won’t be able to confirm if it was a clean hit or not. Are you serious? We already played into the Mafia’s trap the first day and got rid of our detective, why wouldn’t we want to explore what the enemy is up to this time around?

It’s true that I could be, though I’m not. Would you feel more comfortable if I spent (at least) another night in jail? It wouldn’t prove anything, but I can’t see the harm in making sure. Plus, the benefit to myself doesn’t exactly bother me.

From a scale of 1 to 6 how certain are you that I’m civilian, with 1 being willing to bet your life that I’m not and 6 being willing to bet your life that I am? I have a plan but it won’t work without a significant degree of trust.

@RadicalFuzz Your insights are the only posts I’m listening to. I suspect almost everyone else. However, I’m not comfortable with assigning a number to your civilian possibility. There’s some people I’d rather that didn’t know how much I think you’re Civilian.

Having said that, a list of people you trust and distrust at this point in the game from you would be greatly beneficial.

I’ll reveal my suspicions before the phase is over, but I want to sit on them for a bit longer.

Nobody sends in their lynch votes until Fluff reveals his plan. You will need to reveal it very soon though, in order to give everyone time to submit their votes.
