There is still some ambiguity here. Could there be 8 monsters on a team?
@RadicalFluff lol That’s just it.

Wait
@azure still hasn’t answered my question…
Anyways, I strongly rejected the possibility of vampires sacrificing sovi3t and using promote because as others said that would benefit them by…getting us to trust vynce more and start suspecting those that sovi3t said were “safe”? but then the more I think about it the more plausible it seems, I mean look at the direction of the discussion now it’s been shaped by us second guessing ourselves on whether he was sacrificed or not lol. ultimately however, sacrificing a vampire when you only have 3 in total is a dumb move, so I think it’s safe to assume vigi just got lucky or had a GDLK read I mean he had a 6/25 chance of nailing mafia right? if vampires did sacrifice sovi3t to get us to be suspicious of pietastic, azure, and DG then consider me baited hook, line, and sinker.
I find it interesting that sovi3t said he suspected me and then asked why some are “gunning for me”. I’m not sure how to take that, maybe he was trying to set me up to be lynched next?
As of now people seem too scared to start accusing others yet are more than happy to strike down the theories of others which like I said before will make this entire game just a very long day 1 I’m with the chief insofar that throwing a little caution to the wind and provoking others will get the ball rolling, even if we have to be more careful than ever in this…unique game.
OZ suspect list:
Pietastic
And kind of sort of azure?
I was asking for this “quandary” you’ve supposedly had.
Can we all agree that barring some self incriminating slip up from mafia that we should all vote to lynch someone who voted for either MP or TCJ?
Quick question…how did Azure and Bious get on that list of people originally?
They’re the only two that suspected Soviet of being Mafia. Though I believe Bious admitted his suspicions were ‘random’. Azure was definitely on the guy though.

I remember much discussion about rather or not to lynch you day one, because apparently you have a history a getting on people’s nerves. At least that’s what I got from going through the thread. That being said…how the hell does soviet get us suspicious of pie, azure, or DG? As azure has reminded everybody 100 times, he had soviet “read” from his first post lol. If anything, soviet dying only serves to strengthen people’s faith in Azure on the surface.
I really don’t understand how pie has anything to do with anything. What would Soviet getting killed have anything to do with pie…he’s been extremely general and/or vague in his advise. I haven’t noticed strange beef or chemistry between the two.
You’re whole post seems to be trying to push people to vote for pie…I think with all of the interaction that has taken place today, we can choose a much better ( aka more dangerous ) lynch today, and I say that having voting for him yesterday.
Can we all agree that barring some self incriminating slip up from mafia that we should all vote to lynch someone who voted for either MP or TCJ?
pretty sure if you go through the thread, it’s staring you in the face already

This is coming from the thought process that they honestly suspected him in the first place. A pretty big assumption considering it ties directly into them having good intent in the first place.

By the way you never answered for this statement @Azure
How was killing TCJ falling into a Mafia trap to kill the Detective?
You’re not merely connecting dots with statements like that.
You’re making fakecdots, and connecting them to real ones.
Ok, I never said it was mafia’s intent to lynch THE DETECTIVE, but I’m not the only one that feels the village was swayed in part by mafia to lynch coJones without good reason. The wolves could have killed him as well. It’s not 100% clear who targeted him.
Bious, let me make something clear.
There needs to be an Assassin before either faction gets to kill at night. The only way to get an Assassin is to Promote a Mafia. Assassinate and Promote are both Major actions. Only one Major action can be taken each night. It is impossible for a faction to have both Promoted a member to an Assassin and Assassinated somebody on Night 1.
Also, to the people saying he could’ve been killed by Doctor, that’s wrong. If the Doctor “cures” a starting Vampire the writeup will say “SoVi3t has been cured”. Obviously we’d know he was a Vampire and lynch him the following day, but he wouldn’t die from the Cure action.
Azure:
Vynce is in jail, true enough.
But roles were assigned at random.
Just because he was jailed, and a potential sacrifice was made, does not exonorate him of being the vamp leader.
…it could also mean that Drac is deferring to a more savvy Initiate, for tactics.
Dracula specifically has the “Sacrifice” ability. If he was Jailed I don’t see how he could use that ability. Same goes for “Promote”
After re-reading the rules that does seem to be the case. So the Wolf attack theory is out.

- And how are you so sure it was a Mafia trap?
I’m not 100 percent sure, but I REALLY don’t enjoy the idea of totally writing something off as “Van is gdlke”
And that’s exactly why I said to leave it to the coroner, yet you really want to keep pushing this.
Listen, I’ve explained this MORE than once, so please if you don’t believe me check the role again, ask PW, do whatever you have to do to wrap your head around this shit.
The coroner’s report will come up the same REGARDLESS of who kill Soviet. There are only TWO options, and BOTH of the options will yield a “killed by human” report. On another note, why do you keep trying to push me away from this?
@PW, just for clarification’s sake…if Dracula were to sacrifice a vampire and choose for him to die at the hands of Van Helsing, would the coroner be able to distinguish this from a legitimate VH kill?
Because no one would be stupid enough to sac Soviet as a Vampire on Night 1. The only advantage it would give is clearing people who suspected him of being Mafia as Vampires, and that is too big of a risk to take.
Why am I pushing you from this? Because you sound like you want Helsing to come out and say it was him who murked Soviet.
Actually if you look at my post, you’ll see that this is what I’m trying to prevent. I don’t know how more obvious I would have to be than to tell VH not to fall for the trap lol.

I was thinking that we’re bound to find at least up to three or two Mafia among The Co-Jones/MP votes. Possibly three or four including that No Lynch group. It seems like the safest route to hide inside large groups like that rather than going off and voting alone so you can draw attention to yourself. That’s exactly what Soviet did so it was probably easier for Van Helsing to scope him out.
Taking into consideration what I assume would be Soviet’s style of play, that list of suspects he gave are probably just random names. So Vynce, Missing Person, and orochizoolander join Azure and Bious in the group of people who likely aren’t vampires. And I take back what I said earlier about Aidebit not being cleared of being a vampire. He likely isn’t one as well.
And there is no way they used Sacrifice this early in the game, lol. There are zero benefits using it now and I don’t think a collective of anyone here would be that dumb. Van Helsing is just a boss~

Perhaps this is the angle we should look at what happened from. What evidence was there that plainly gave away SoVi3t as mafia? It has to exist right? Van Helsing saw it. We should be able to back in to it.
No sarcasm. No mafia game. Bite only
Final Destination

Perhaps, but I’m more worried about what comes next. Assuming VH actually killed Sovi3t, Sovi3t’s posts won’t actually clear anyone, but can help identify additional vampires. Vampires are somewhat weak right now, and werewolves potentially somewhat strong. I am currently thinking about how each side would play that during the day and matching that up to what I’m seeing out of people today and in Sovi3t’s posts, which were summarized well by @DarkGeneral. 3SL’s increased posting is catching my attention, for sure.
Also OZ is definitely high on my suspect list, but “bite only–final destination” alone might have bought him another day from me.

I wouldn’t say you’re suspicious. Just really misguided. Come on, Sacrifice on the first night is a dumb move no matter what. There’s no way they went for that. And if you were Mafia, I see absolutely nothing you’d gain from leading others into believing that it was indeed used. Van Helsing likely made a good read and is probably frustrated that some of you are still discussing this. More effort should be put into looking over Soviet’s posts to find something that may lead to the rest of his faction.

didn’t mean to fall off the earth there yesterday, phone server’s pri went down… not fun times had by all.
anyways as i’m catching up i wouldn’t say that i really have a solid suspect list so far, what i have noted though was OZ pushing on godots a bit for a mundane comment, and there seems to be a push to turn what i see as a really unfortunate day 1 into a witch hunt. Just assume for a second that it was just a coincidence that TCJ was piled on (very possible given our propensity for off’ing a less active player on day 1), it’s not like anyone would have a clue what his allegiance is seeing as how even the mafia is dealing with serious doubt this game seeing as how their are 2 different mafia teams.
bah, will post more in a bit, today i’m still reading through… on page 16 right now so i’ll post more of my thoughts as i go along.

Throw some of that at me too. I’m considering the N1 possibility as well.
Typically Vigilantes wouldn’t fire their weapon the first night nor hit a mafia the first shot but people accept because that’s what the story said.
If we’re wrong, then collectively we’re way behind the game already.
