SRK Mafia XI: Vampires Vs Werewolves - Game Over: Town Wins!

And by this you mean “kills dross, bad players, and Mafia masterminds”, I assume… given how it went down, and all. :coffee:

Oh.

K.

How could he be shapeshifted, if alone?

Oh wait, Oerba isn’t even playing.
I swear he was…

It bypasses the town hall protection.

God damn, something has me stumped.

From Da Rules:

@Bious

To name a few…

-Lots of PM’s.
-People coming in more informed than would be expected.
-Prep time, present written posts.
-Some people responding to some players more than others.

These are some of the things that stand out. I think Mafia is hunting for info without providing insight. That and our most mowerful roles aren’t doing a great job hiding it.

WTF “Pre” isn’t in my dictionary!? So stupid. (Added)

jesus fucking christ… on the 7th page already!?

anyways my personal take on the bite ability is that it changes that players allegiance anyways and thus alters their win conditions so there is no reason to expect that the person who might get converted would tell anyone about it, just doesn’t really make sense unless the person is just upset and wants to mess with the game.

there are so many roles though that it’s kinda tricky to really wrap my head around this whole game, so before anyone is converted/promoted are we dealing with 3/3/21 in terms of people per faction?

I think we ought to be conserving our “good players” day one. We can’t do this all game, or else we’ll get run over while the mafia smokescreens their way through. But with absolutely zero evidence to go on right now, the last thing we need to do is kill our best players. This is how more easily influenced players end up at the end game most often.

  1. We lynch our good players.
  2. Mafia kills the rest when they don’t really need the smokescreen anymore.

I haven’t read everything in this thread yet (I wake up and there are like 200 new posts). Why are people gunning for OZ?

Doesn’t Oerba lurk every game though?

But that would require the werewolf to know who the Mayor is. Or to guess mad awesome. But even with an awesome guess, if the Mayor is an unknown variable, then the werewolf would just be shape shifted into “random player’s name”, and not the Mayor role itself, right?

  1. Because of last game.
  2. This time he can lurk all he wants to.

@SumAznDude I’m probably going to vote to lynch you.

Has he been lurking too?

I wish I knew what you’re getting at.

Intriguing, especially the last one.

I respect the level of play on this page.

Meaties.

Gone through the thread and have confirmed something I thought might be the case.

If a certain condition hasn’t been met in 3 hours (with 12 hours remaining to vote), I’ll have my lynch target for the rest of the game until that player is dead.

Yup. He’s been online, posted one obligatory check in. He’d be a good recruit, since no one knows him, and I don’t expect him to make any waves on the civ side if he is one.

My intent was to draw attention to this statement in the rules and contrast it with Bious’s remark:

Bious said that Shapeshifting ignores the Town Hall, but there is no clause that says the Shapeshifter may target someone outside the hall if he is inside and vice-versa. I’m curious as to how Bious came to his conclusion, and if he is indeed correct.

@Vynce roles and allegiances were assigned randomly this time, no recruitments.
