The chances of you getting killed by the Mafia increase if you threaten to reveal them. Those chances only increase more if you prove that your information is correct. It is still possible for you to get killed at night, you don’t need to lose.
But if you’re that convinced, then I guess this was just a waste of my time.
If anything, Fuzz? I wouldn’t trust a soul who does try to push for my lynch. hint hint mafia, this would be a mistake
Explain to me, Fuzz, how offering my only bargaining chip to the public makes them want to kill me. Right now, offering it to the public IS the thing they’d want me not to do.
Let’s assume you’re right on both reads, you know who the 2 Mafia members are. You reveal the name of one if you survive this night phase and we lynch him. He turns up Mafia. You threaten to reveal the last Mafia’s name if you survive the night phase. Proving yourself beforehand by correctly lynching one of the two Mafia increases the chance of the remaining Mafia taking you seriously and killing you at night, which is your ultimate goal.
Agreed, the state of this game will turn for the worse if don’t lynch mafia tomorrow.
That’s why I’m heavily advocating Synonym’s lynch, the mafia.
Tonight, either Hecatom or Fuzz will die, one of the confirmed civs.
After that, if you guys lynch me tomorrow, I’ll turn up clean and Synonym will be exposed as the mafia.
At night, the second confirmed civ or OZ will die.
The day afterward, all of the remaining civs will be lynching Synonym the liar for pushing my lynch and outing a fake report on me.
At night, whoever is left from OZ or the other confirmed civ will be killed.
This will send the game into a state of disarray where the only confirmed civilian is MP, who can’t even vote.
The people that will be left are Cynt, IL, Augustus, Forgedigger and WAH.
If Augustus is really the Gundam, then he should decided who to lynch from the three of them.
If he guesses wrong and cannot convince the town to side, we will most likely lose after the game goes into night phase.
I’m not counting Cyntalan since he’s not a civ.
If the numbers are 1 civilian/1 mafia/1 cyntalan, we lose right?
It’s fine if you guys lynch me though, it’ll prove that he’s mafia when I turn up as civ and his “investigation” is fake.
However, that’s not exactly what I’ll call “optimal”.
I’ll think of a contingency plan if that’s the case.
The problem with that, Fuzz? If my read is correct (and it is, it’s less a read and closer to unequivocal proof), this day phase is going to end in a wrong lynch. That will put the mafia at a potential winning scenario. If you civs lynch right? It won’t matter because it’s a matter of statistics with all the hands that have been put on display. I’m actually BANKING on you guys fucking up today. Guess what, though? Lynching me? That’ll count.
There are only 2 ways to read into your statement, true or false. I picked one that made a bit more sense than the other. The fact that I got you to comment on the matter in the first place is a small victory in my book. Do you know if your survival prolongs the game, if civs or Mafia can win while you’re still alive?
@Mobius I feel I did a poor job of explaining yesterday, but lynching you to remove your Bulletproof acted essentially as a No Lynch while removing your Bulletproof and keeping you alive for your input. My vote didn’t necessarily mean I thought you were Mafia.
