Lets figure out who is what role so we can narrow down idol suspects so then the paparazzi uses his ability on them while vigi kills another player of his choosing who is most suspect, even if night killed paparazzi and vigi still get to use thier powers one last time, and if not mafia can’t kill them both. If both roles announce their targets then we know who to lynch the next day depending on who is night killed.
Ok, I know I put my vote in, but we have 12 people left, 3 of which are mafia, 3 others which are confirmed not mafia. I may never die by mafia hands, but dammit, I wanna see a civ victory anyway. As the 4 confirmed civs remaining, we need to have a solid stance to avoid a no-lynch scenario coming from the remaining 3 mafia. That means solidarity from us. At worst, we can split our votes 3v1, so if you three disagree with my pietastic vote, please make a valuable claim to the contrary and agree with one another on the alternative target.
I had an extremely good feeling that my pietastic vote was the right one, so I went with it from the beginning. Since I know mafia’ll never kill me, I’ll be sure to follow with whomever is remaining of you 3 from the next day phase (I’m assuming that’ll be Hecatom and Fuzz, as I’d be surprised to see Azure live through the night). But for today? I really think you should join me in lynching pie. If not for my vote, then just to get this all hummin’ and hawwin’ over pie done and over with so we can keep vote splits out.
There are other possibilities, but we’ll have no way of verifying our suspicions until after today, barring some big revelations and subsequent accusations.
You six have zero standing one way or another. You may have made subtle claims, or hints, or whatever, but you still haven’t come forward with any blunt claims.
Mobius (Luckster)
WAH (Programmer?)
You two have made claims as well as claims to civ status because of these roles (or in spite of them).
If we are to believe both of you, that means half of the above list is mafia. We also have 3 failures before we lose. We have a large leeway of fuckups in our hands still. We also have that list slightly weighted. I believe the general consensus is that Augustus, Synonym and pietastic are the most likely 3 to be mafia. If we’re hitting pietastic tonight, I’d say we go after one of those two on the next phase, regardless of pietastic’s alignment. From there? I’d first believe the rest are civ and either Mobius or WAH are mafia (WAH over Mobius). Mind you, with the above plan, things could change wildly depending on how shit goes.
Now, as we have so many confirmed civs already, would it be a good idea for these 6 to come out with their roles? I don’t think today, but perhaps tomorrow. With 5 investigations, our UC should have nailed one mafia or confirmed a civ or two we didn’t already know. UC should investigate one of the above 6 they haven’t already investigated. Upon hitting the day phase, come out, along with the rest. So few roles left unaccounted for, someone’s gonna get caught up in a lie.
I feel that WAH is not a mafia, so that leaves us with
Pietastic, Synonim, Infrequent Lurker, Mobius, Orochizoolander & Augustus
Right now i am pretty inclined to think that Pietastic is possibly dirty, MP has suspected of him since some time, and i agree that his suspicious have some grade of validity, though i didn’t fully aknowledge them at the beginning (too focused with RF and The Chief at the time), i see the validity now.
Synonim and Augustus have been helpful at some point in the game, while i can’t say that i trust them i feel that we can afford one more day with them around.
I want to believe that Mobius is civ, but he being a mafia is still a possibility since it takes 2 day phases to off him on a team that knows the identity of the vig and can kill it at anytime of the game.
That alone is enough to keep an eye on him, strategically it makes sense to have him as a mafia, the problem i see is that there is also a mind game level, where they leave him to us and in our paranoia we waste a lynch and/or vigi kill on him. That means up to 2 rounds wasted on a iv just to prove his innocence.
I don’t know what to think of Infrequent Lurker and Forgedigger, those 2 have been so off the radar, that for me is a red flag but with other suspects around i want to take those who imo take priority.
As for Oz, i want to believe on PW guts, but his actions have not helped the cause at all, he claims that he had personal/medical problems at the beginning of the game, and i can attest that it can happen, like with me on the SP game, he can be a civ that really wants to stay on the game to distract him from said problems despite not having the time, but i can understand if anyone doesn’t get the same vibe that me.
After all he went alone with the Otaku claim from PW, he also has [soft] claimed? other roles and over all has shown a lack of commintment with the events of the thread by poping with outdated insight, his collaborations have been scarce if any and overall his erratic behaviour could be to hide that he is mafia.
Saying that, we still have time, so i think that before locking our votes we need to get a consensus on what to do.
Who to lynch today. What to do when you are killed and if by any chance you are not killed what to do if i am the one who is offed.
There were two entwined reasons for that, the primary one being that I think he is dirty (the other being dropping a hint that I was going to sanp a pic of him that night).
Mobious’s posts early today reeked of The Chief coaching him
Finally caught up on the thread. PW may have died, but he left us with some really good insight. This may be obvious, but I believe we should really take his last words into great consideration.
I know I’m late to the party, but awesome job, @Azure. We’re lucky to have a sharp vigilante. However, have we decided if/when Vigi kills need to stop to give the Civs more time?
I see my name’s being thrown around a little because of my inactivity. I’m not going to try to give excuses with you guys because I know it’s only going to make it worse. I can assure you that I am not avoiding the thread on purpose unless it is absolutely necessary to maintain good health or grades. I post any other time I can, assuming it doesn’t take me so long to read the 300 posts the thread accumulates while I’m gone. So, I have a curious question for you guys: in all honesty would you prefer I post more often, or actually read the posts I missed? I’m doing my best here.
