I also don’t trust MP spelling out the If You Fuck Up and Vote Me Off scenario. I already know what’s going to happen if I’m wrong and people follow me.
And I have a feeling I know what’s going to happen if I’m right and people follow me.
If I was nemesis, I would play this in one of 3 ways.
If I used it on the first night, it would be to silence a fellow mafia player to make everyone think that he was a civ probably one that did not come as clean automatically.
If used on the first night would be to send Taskmaster targets. If they successfully recruit taskmaster dont they get two kills a night rather than 1.
Used on the second night on someone accusing a civ of being mafia so that people would become suspicious of the accuser.
Wow, so we have the day 2 showdown, Vynce vs Missing Person. Not sure why Vynce would even start that one, I think there’s only one way that face off would go down. But hey, he seems to be pushing for it, so maybe I will oblige him, Vynce is one person I’d rather see looked at by Spidey and not figure out who he is through a noose, but what are you gonna do.
But I have to address this loose collection of rambling thoughts, attempting to convey some sort of logic and reasoning:
Are you serious dude? Don’t show up for the game, then when you do show up, it’s with some half assed attack on my gameplay? Yes, day 1 lynches have nothing to go out other than what people decide to volunteer and talk about. Day 1, fudd was my best guess as to who we should lynch. I stand by that vote, and if day 1 was replayed, it’d be the same thing from my perspective. I stand by that vote, so if you think I’m going to somehow regret that like it was a mistake? Hell no.
Unless you know something about Fudd we don’t, and can address my concerns directly that were raised, simply pointing out the fact that I led a vote on Fudd doesn’t mean much. Notice how, going into day 2, I haven’t tried to bring up Fudd as another vote target, although other people have, because now we have more info to go on. But by all means, keep bringing up Day 1 stuff in Day 2. I’m looking forward to discussing day 3 happenings when we’re on Day 8 lynch, since you will probably continually be multiple days behind the rest of the game when you’re trying to catch up on 10 pages at a time.
Put it this way, you start off this post by saying how you suspected Bious day 1, and look how wrong you ALREADY were. Maybe your criteria for what is mafia like behavior needs to be adjusted? Bious was clean enough that the Mafia felt like he was their best target, so what on earth would make you think he was Mafia?
Just find it funny and out of left field that this is the post that I woke up to, haha. Just remember, Trust No One, not even me, but maybe tweak the settings on your Mafia Radar.
Ok, not sure if its worth mentioning here, but I was really trying to think about what I would be doing if I was capcom in this game. There are 7 Mafia people, right? (Wesker, Viper, Nemesis, Hsien-Ko, firebrand, Joe, Magneto) As the game starts, these 7 people are all aware of eachothers names and roles. That means Capcom is aware of who Magneto actually is, just through process of elimination. Only they can’t do anything about it, because if they off him at night, he reveals all of them through his last gasp. the ONLY play for Mafia is to get the rest of us to Lynch Magneto during the day phase (assuming magneto is smart enough to not vote against Nemesis and get blown up). this means we have to be Extra careful of putting votes onto people that we really are not sure about. I feel like maybe I have a grasp on who Magneto could be, just from thinking about it in this perspective, but make sure you guys keep this in mind as you read the thread
Investigate the other and…then what? An additional scenario to think about is the looming presence of Hsien-Ko and her ability.
Let’s say Spidey does investigate you and he gets the results. what is he going to do with them? If he even so much as nudges towards claiming he has a role, that puts him in the crosshairs of her level 1 and if she decides to get him, that’s Spidey out of the game for the rest of us. Honestly, if Spiderman did have to investigate, the results wouldn’t help those besides him much because there are way too many options in the beginning of the game that can just fuck with him. It’d take some crazy wordplay to try and push someone in the clear without risking us losing a strong asset, or at least that’s how I see it. Either that, or Doc Strange would have to dedicate himself to straight up protecting Spidey for a bit afterwards.
Voting wise, I want to vote for Pataka out of principle because what he did was fucked up, but that doesn’t really help us out in the grand scheme of things. Unless there’s some idiot level yomi going on here (which puts sikwidit in the fray here as well if so), the dude is a confirmed civ, dumbass or not.
Although I do believe that out of MP and Vynce, MP is a civ, I still don’t want to vote for Vynce just because of the pm situation. I know its not sikwidits fault and that he actually told Pataka the deal but even for a newb, that was a pretty stupid thing to do. I know it doesnt make him a mafia so i’ll reserve my vote for later. I wont be on when voting closes so i’m gonna try and send mine in in the next hour or so.
My vote is most likely going towards Hecatom, im going off of a hunch but he just gives me a bad feeling. If things change soon then i’ll send in what the group is going with to try and avoid a tie/no lynch but untill then . . .
Remember Pimp Magneto can do whatever the fuck he wants and still seems to win either way. Your logic on the mafia knowing who each other is is actually correct I did not think of it that way. That has got to be an interesting pm convo to say the least if they know who he is. If they all turn on him I would think he would say screw yall, I am giving you up. If you have thoughts on his person, you should let us know them in the next couple of days so he is not accidently lynched.
Hmm by what you are saying it is possible look at MP and Vynce as both being mafia and one person being Magneto.
We should start getting a read on majority votes here. We got a few people at each others throats, but not a lot of people sticking their neck out.
I’m willing to go out on a limb and paint a target on any of the following: Fudd, PatakaReada, KillaFox, Manx, TheMartian, Co-Jones, BullDancer, or NickRocks.
KillaFox coming for my head moved him up on the list pretty fast, but he hasn’t really put forth ANYTHING at all to get a solid read.
I’m confident there are more than a couple mafia on that list. I’m taking a risk here, and I’m about to show up on a lot of people’s radar for it. Let the games begin.
We really need to know how everyone is voting not only to avoid a no lynch but also to protect skrull.
If there is an equal number of people who vote for one person yet one still dies they know what group skrull belongs too. I dont know how to feel about Killafox or pataka right now because its not like they post very much. Killafox just posts that someone is on his radar and although pataka pmd me, I cant see anyone in the mafia telling him to go forth with that action.
I think you misunderstand Magneto. Magneto only wins if the Marvels win. He is only a Capcom for show, if Capcoms win, then Magneto loses. So he wants to get us the names so he can win. However he can’t, per the rules, come out and say, “Hey I’m Magneto.” I don’t think he’s even allowed to post up the names of the Capcom members, as it goes against the spirit of the role, unless its in his Last Gasp will to She-Hulk. So from a Capcom perspective, killing she-hulk is going to be key, so Magneto can’t get his last gasp that will doom them all. After that, they can kill him off without fear of losing.
So we need to find, and Kill, magneto through vigilante Justice (Looking at you Ghost Rider) and we win this game easy.
Why not? We find out anyway once SWBeta posts it. Not wanting to reveal who you are voting for is super suspicious to begin with. You keep moving yourself up that list. I’m starting to lean towards putting you on the block first actually.
Thats what I thought at first until someone I forgot who was saying that it is not definite how magneto wins. If you remember that was the first strategy I came up with for us to win. Maybe I need to go back and see who it was that was saying it was not definite.
My original strat was for Ghost Rider to kill Magneto and then she-hulk.
If you read the full extent of what I wrote, you would understand that we need to avoid ties at all costs in order to keep skrull alive since he will be invaluable in end game. Do you see a reason why we should not share votes. You already said you wanted to vote for me. I hope that stays the same because if it comes out that you voted for someone else after writing my name in bold, you will look even more suspicous
