SRK Mafia VI: Zombie Apocalypse - Game Over! (Directed by M. Night Shyamalan)

We need robots…robots are fun. Imagine heartless robot mafia members killing innocent civilians! Something like…300 years from now, it’s impossible to tell the difference between robots and humans, for human technology has become too advanced! Or maybe something Toy Story-esque, with each person being a different toy like a barbie doll, action figure, gundam robot, that would be pretty silly. A medieval setting could be fun too, with a group of people who secretly band together to overthrow a kingdom. Maybe in October we could run a halloween themed game, with mummies, princesses, vampires, ghosts, power rangers…I could go on and on…

Which is why I did the opposite, basically calling everyone a faggot for wanting to lynch me when I’ve made it so obvious I’m a civ.

20 Roles? That may be the most genius post I’ve read in awhile:rofl:

Def down for another Marvel mafia. Be UMvC Mafia this time anyway.

Marvel one was my absolute favourite

more roles = gdlk!!!

haha yeah if i had planned to make an alt account to sign up to this game 13 years ago and made 9000 + posts to cover it up that would make sense.

I signed up, and then i went to vietnam for new years where i didn’t have my laptop…granted i could have checked on my phone but it wasn’t really the first thing on my mind.

Confession!!!

You had the best timing in the world : ) Glad you contacted me in time

I ain’t gonna lie, I didnt really bother reading the story until now, I just checked to see if somebody killed me yet.

Got damn, thats a hell of a story. I wanna do a Mafia for you guys sometime but I have like no idea where to start, and I doubt I could come up with a fucking kickass story like that.

Pimp, I’d love to hear how much more you had planned out lol

edit: also, what were ur thoughts on day one mafia lynch???

I’ll answer it for him.

It screwed the mafia over big time.

I’m not down for another MVC game. Too many roles, too confusing. I’ll pass on that. I purposefully didn’t say anything as much as possible that game to not look like an idiot.

I think it hurt, but I don’t think it was that damaging. At least it was a new player, who was still trying to figure the ropes out, and not some vet who got axed. I don’t know if the enforcer role would have been super helpful or game changing. With 4 mafia to 16 people civs, you have a 20% chance of hitting mafia day 1 lynch. And with the first day lynch trains always pretty unanimous, Mafia can throw their buddy under the bus easy enough without risking too much. Combined with getting the Witness night 1, I’d say it evened out real fast.

Hell like I said, After night 1 I told SWBeta this game would be over fast because BJ was about to die, and that meant 2 night kills for mafia. Even with the loss of Dramatix, I expected Mafia to win. And then when the PM came in for BJ, I was like ‘time to wrap this one up, night 2 carpenter kill.’ So I don’t think the day 1 mafia lynch hurt as much as you might think.

As for what I had planned out, the only thing I Really had planned was for the mall to fall apart after the carpenter died, and for the people to move out into the streets, and then eventually they’d run into the army. Since that never happened, instead I had to have the army contacted via walkie talkie. The idea that LGP would be a second agent came in at the last second, because since both were in the last story bit, I could do the whole contacting thing public. Otherwise I would have just PM’d redbeard that LGP contacted him at night to join the Mafia, and then let that play out on its own. So I got to have a little fun, knowing it was the last story I was going to write.

BJ, if he died, would have ended up nailed to a cross upside down, of course. That one was a gimme.

If the Cult won, I was going to bring back a lot of the people who died but didn’t get killed as a zombie; i.e. Ben Perkins, whoever was left hanging in the food court, etc and have all the people eaten alive by their friends, before the military came in to wipe everything out. But that didn’t really play out either.

I also think it’s interesting how polarizing the games with lots of roles can get. Vets really like to stick to pure games, minimal roles and everything is based on experience, mind games, and having a full understanding of all the intricacies of the game and roles. Some of the newer players prefer more roles, having something to do, feeling more important than just being a regular civ, and lots of crazy game changing abilities. It’s truly like ST vs MvC in terms of what makes the games appealing.

I do agree the more traditional games are fun, but I really think a crazy, over the top game with lots of game changing roles that might even be hard to follow what’s going on could be fun to try once as well. I’m also a CvS2 guy, so it’s more in the middle for me I guess

I completely agree. The most fun I ever had with a Mafia game was when we had tons of roles in MvC, but I still quite enjoy the way the game plays out when we do something like we had here.

The only thing I’m worried about if we bring a lot of roles into play is balance and player base. It’d be hard to balance the game out if the majority of people had roles and the issue where some people will have a role and have no clue how to use it.

That’s the beauty of marvel. You don’t let balance in the way of fun. Every role should have a level 3 that makes you just go " no way that’s fair"

yeah that was the fun of Marvel…people busting out lvl 3’s and role protecting and just plain crazyness!!

What would have happened if i had contaced cyntalin? Would i have got turned before he got killed? or would have the game still ended.

That’s pretty much what i was expecting to happen, i just picked the wrong person i thought was mafia and thought was going to get redneck killed.

If you got cyntalan correct, the game would have continued with you as the lone cult member

I was more interested in the story.
It made me go like "I want to try this sometime."
Plus the stress and thrill of trying (and failing) to find the last guy was amazing.
Funny story, while this game was going on I played a game of Last Werewolf with a gang of strangers at a con.
I was the cult leader. As soon as I got that card I wanted to start laughing.

This is why Bious ultimately went.
