PS4 isnt in the budget right now. I probably wouldnt rebuy GTA5 though. Heists dont exist, and I’d have to completely start over from scratch on the online, which is a huge pet peeve of mine. The fact that I made a second character on Borderlands was a sign from the heavens.
Plus, you cant make money in it anymore after all the reward nerfs. I stole a bunch of that generated money and ran with that shit. I bought ALL the cars. Levelling takes fucking ages etc, etc.

I don’t know if he’s talking about what I think he is, but I was covering my face almost 80% of the time when I was Mafia. It felt really obvious after the fact, so I assumed that if people were looking at me they would’ve noticed. And then apparently I’m MP’s most trusted player lol, so either he was screwing with me or was really busy scrolling back and forth through all the players.
I think during that time, I had my view showing Synonym, Black Light, and TGG, so I missed your tells a bit.

*Ding This was exactly what I noticed. I was looking at your reaction and how you handled yourself throughout the game and noticed that you were obscuring your face most of the time. TGG was somewhat similar but his poses was more in the thinking vein than trying to hide his expression.
There was another thing I picked up on. If anyone was paying attention to the beginning of the last two days they would have picked up on it. I think you know what I’m referring to since it correlated with what you did early game.
By the way, I was shocked you didn’t night either MP or the UC (Blacklight?). MP practically confirmed himself as the medic when Blacklight RC’d. MP knows what I’m talking about.*
*For what it’s worth I think MP is one of the top readers with have. Him, 'Gustus and Syn in my mind are 3 of the top 5 pure readers we have. Possibly the top 3.

The only other thing I was consciously aware of is that I really wanted to eat when I was Mafia but I thought it would look bad so I didn’t.
The reason I didn’t kill MP was because he was Medic, he’s never going to not protect himself. Not killing UC was stupid, and I didn’t have my head on straight. Also it never clicked with me that there were no Last Gasps until Vigilantics, I didn’t use that aspect very well.
General I would’ve been surprised if you picked up a useful tick from me. I was very aware of my body movements in the two games I played about as much as what I write in the forum format. I have a pretty good poker face and can lie to someone’s face easily. Its not something I do often, and its a terrible skill to pride myself on, but its come in handy once or twice.
Now I’m curious. Who do you think are the best readers?

Chief can definitely zero in on someone off very little. I easily agree with Syn & MP. I don’t know aside from that, I don’t pay enough attention to the why sometimes. Also in my opinion being able to read someone isn’t particularly valuable if you can’t convince the thread to lynch them, so I tend to define “best reads” as reads + getting that person lynched.
*Like Fuzzy said, your cam was pretty damn dark. Your actions/voice wasn’t really something that had a lot of standout “Voila!” moments for me. Even when you had got mindfucked at the end it seemed to come off natural as “over my head, I’m tired” instead of “I’m fucked, lynch is coming”.
Sidenote: Last game (PW2), pregame/first page banter before I started playing. First pm to MP I told him who my gutcheck suspects were and your name was on the list of who I thought was mafia. I’ll quote it, MP can confirm this:

I had forgot I had you pegged for a role off of page 1 once I started playing. Life for me was pretty crazy at the time and I had a hard time focusing on mafia related things before basically saying “I should be focusing on this instead of mafia”.
*Chief and Vynce have weird reads. Their system is intriguing and the way they go about things is where I think their bread gets buttered.
The aspect of having the read+getting the lynch is interesting. When it comes to finding mafia from a civ POV it’s crucial. But, and this might just be me, but I think reading someone as a civ and stopping that person from getting lynched or getting heat off of them is just as important. Vynce, Chief, MP, Syn and even 'Gustus all do that to varying degrees. Vynce and Chief in particular are good at directing traffic, which really helps with pegging civs.
I’ve seen all the names listed make subtle plays like that, which counts for a lot in the course of a game. Which I also classify as “good read”. *
I know exactly why I was an easy read for doctor and was kicking myself for it internally when I did it too.
First out of the gate to say no counter claim with gusto is usually the other power role.
General the first game I had my lights on. In the second game, my cam feedback told me I was well enough illuminated by the screen to see my face clearly. Did you miss the first game?
