It was more just for convenience sake on my end. The night phase isn’t going to be anymore intense than normal or anything like that. I can do 36-12, though. c:

I was thinking about running a game where I handpick who every role is, no RNG involved, with a moderate amount of roles, mostly odd ones. It wouldn’t be balanced, of course, but the ability to screw with the players would be quite fun. Would I give my friends Mafia because I enjoy Mafia more, would I give Synonym the Vigi and declare it game for the civs, would I make Alpha the Jester so I could officially refer to him as the Town Fool? What does everyone think of that?

On a serious note, if someone would be offended by that, not getting a role in a game where I handpick roles, they probably shouldn’t sign up. Also it should probably be omitted from the points system if it is run because it’d just be me going “wouldn’t it be funny if X?”

But seriously, I think half the fun of Mafia games is not knowing what you’ll get.
Dunno if it would work and/or even be fun to play but what if you mixed mafia with arena by having sponsors that could influence who gets a certain role, give or take away stock from the vigi, make someone show up as mafia when investigated etc?
You guys act like I’m some kind of flowchart and you can read who I’m gonna give what without the context of roles or a player list.

Bitch please. If it was up to me, I’d do something like make a whole town of Civs or give everyone a role like ‘You must get lynched to win. You will show up as roleless Civilian upon death.’. I wouldn’t give a shit about dicking people around, but you seem like one of those people that takes feelings into consideration.
Make everyone a gunsmith. The only action they can submit is sending me a gun.
Okay, @RadicalFuzz I’d like to officially enter a new game type into the leaderboard queue.
Well, actually two of them. The first is the inaugural game of SRK Survivor. I’m happy to run it some time after PW has run his next arena game and we’ve gone through a couple more mafia games too.
The second game is one I hope to run very frequently. I intend to start running it immediately after Forge’s game ends. Don’t worry, it will not interfere with any of the other planned mafia games.
I am talking about launching a game series called: MSPaint Whispers. Basically, the game has 20 participants. The first participant is shown a primer image. They are then responsible for describing that image, as much as possible, to another player in 10 words. That player then attempts to draw a picture in MSPaint based off of the description. That picture is then shown to the next person and the chain continues.
I’m shamelessly stealing this concept from another forum but I think it looked like hella fun and that we could all enjoy it.
I’ll put up a sign-up thread after Forge’s game ends.
