So with the SRK Mafia All-Stars game on the horizon (After SRK Mafia 18), we need to figure out the format.
I’d like to suggest a 15 player format.
3 Mafia, One Godfather.
1 UC
1 Medic
1 Vigilante, with 2 Stocks non-recursive
9 Roleless civilians
Top 10 on the Leaderboard get in by default, with the remaining 5 spots being up to player vote, anyone that has played mafia between SRK Mafia Proving Grounds 1 and SRK Mafia 18 can vote. If one of the top 10 is GM for the All-Star game, their spot goes to #11 on the Leaderboard.
The leaderboard is actually proving to be a decent metric to judge on. I don’t feel like there’s too many weak links.
As of right now, the people that would be in by default would include:

Bious
pietastic
Exodus.

The Chief
ForgeDigger
Oerba
Bious is scheduled to run the All Star game, so his slot would go to Cyntalan. Chief may opt out due to retirement, so The Co-Jones would be in.
These are hypotheticals though, feel free to disagree with my idea or whatever, and of course, the leaderboard isn’t set in stone, anything can happen in 3 games. I think Fuzz, Vynce, HAX, and Bious already have their spots locked up though.
Sounds good, but can we skip all the bullshit and just give Synonym a spot rather than have him take up 75% of the votes?
Alternative method: Give everyone that got MVP in the past 10 games a guaranteed spot, then elect the other 5.
Maybe get five from the scoreboard, the five most recent MVPs, then the remaining five get voted?

Yeah, depending on standings at the end of next game, I would probably be willing to give up a top 10 spot for a handful of players that simply don’t the number of games that I do. Though so long as we get voting I think the players that should get in will get in.

I’ll try to keep this relatively short and to the point.
I am organizing a “Game of Mafia Champions”, which will feature the very best players from a bunch of different mafia communities. A cross-site game.
This is a very huge, very ambitious and very unique project. It’s an experiment in seeing what happens when different mafia cultures clash. Also, it’s a chance to let the best mafia players on the internet face off against each other.
The first three games of this kind have already been completed (almost 40 different mafia sites participated).

I am now trying to gather players for the fourth game in the series. And I wanted to ask you if your site would be interested in having a representative in this game?
I will let you guys decide completely by yourself how you choose this representative, whether it be by public poll or the mods electing the representative or some third thing. The only thing I would ask is that you please only send someone who you deem to be a champion of your site, someone who has enjoyed accolades or is acknowledged as a consensus top player. Please no “troll representative” 
Extra information about the game:

The game is scheduled to start May 5. Each game day (including night phase) is planned to be 2 real life days. Saturday and Sunday will always count as one real life day though, so less time intensive over the weekend.

There will be 24 players and the game should last about 2 weeks.

As for the setup, it wil be a semi-open setup with potential roles being listed in the OP - without revealing which are actually in the game.

If your site wants to, you guys are very free to spectate the game. We will also have a spectator chat on Skype set up which anyone not in the game can be invited to. It was very fun for the first two games and attracted people from a bunch of different sites.
Note: It really is important that the chosen person can post plenty every game day. If there isn’t anyone on your site who would be able to manage this fast paced format, then that is obviously understandable :). Whoever the representative is needs to be prepared for 1000+ posts on day 1.

Okay, so how do you guys wanna decide this? I’m going to suggest a poll, like how we picked who made it into the All-Star game. Player with the most votes gets in unless that player has a reason they can’t play. Keep in mind that the games are going to be more intensive post-wise than any we’ve played here, the 3 he linked to have, and I’m not even kidding, 250+ pages at 15 posts each. That’s several thousand posts per game. Tagging some relevant players for their input:

With the Arena game starting it would be hard to juggle both.

Chief I believe Mafia won all 3 games. And I wasn’t implying that I won’t be trying to nab as many votes as possible, just tagging some dudes.
I’d be down if there were say, 3 of us, but that’s a big time commitment on another site without familiar voices. 3 strikes for me.
