To everyone who’s unfamiliar with Death Note and don’t have the time to watch the full anime series, here’s the live-action film they made. It’s not as comprehensive and there are some major differences, but it should give you the gist of the series in 2 hours.
(There’s a second movie that connects to this one, but I couldn’t find the full thing on YouTube.)
There’s only 37 episodes if you wanted to watch the anime, so it’d probably take you 13 hours to watch the whole thing.
From watching that potato chip scene the anime looks really good. I love paranoid stuff like that so I’ll have to check it out, preferably before the game starts.
