TMNT was prior to the distinct change in animation trends that characterized the 1990s. The animation is poor, the content is targeted squarely at children, and each episode is basically a 20 minute commercial for toys. It’s an '80s cartoon.

man we can do this all day with anime/american movies/reality TV/video games and so on but I digress. For me, people hating anime for whatever reasons can do so just like how I can find shows there and here bad for my own reasons too. Anime/Manga…they’re just done in a different style that caught my eye and I generally like…well most of them. Unless OP get’s a reboot in style down the line, Imma pass. Same with animated shows here like Ed Edd and Eddy. I hate that squiggle animation it has, looks horrible on my eyes. I can pass on Young Justice but I found Teen Titans much better but I ain’t ranting as to why…
Only things animated I watch these days that are still kinda new are Adventure Time and sometimes Regular Show. So sad to see how we lack so much these days…fuck these networks sticking to teen shows where they sing/try to be famous/drama…FUCK THAT SHIT!
